History:
     Ivo has a long history with the JLA. His first encounters involved his deadly android, Amazo, which simulated all the powers of the JLA. He eventually succeeded, somewhat, in destroying the incarnation of the Justice League that was active at the time of G. Gordon Godfrey's manipulation of the American population. He resurfaced later stealing the powers of several heroes around the globe, attempting to amass enough power to kill himself (releasing him from the curse of his immortality serum). Evidently, he started taking the serum again and teamed up with T.O. Morrow to destroy the League using Tomorrow Woman.

Description:
     As a consequence of his immortality serum, Ivo is a large, hideous, gray-skinned, behemoth. He seems to be quite comfortable wearing a long purple robe all the time.

Personality:
     Ivo is quite insane. He is driven by a quest for immortality (caused by the death of his mother), restoring his humanity, and destroying the Justice League. He did show "temporary sanity," however, when he kidnapped Ice of the JLI and was temporarily cured of his serum
