A sub-group of the second Cadre that battled the Justice League International. They were comprised of the Druid, Xiuhtecut, Seneca, Osiris, Mohammed Ibu Borna, Mahayogi, Musashi, Phalanx and led by a man styling himself after the ancient king Prester John and calling himself the Immortal. Each of the group had a strong ethnic identity and had been drawn together by the Immoral to battle the modern world which threatened their historic heritage. For a time Maya was mind controlled into joining the group but when its leader killed Mahayogi as punishment for betraying him the group fractured. Seneca and Osiris defected to help the JLI, Ibu Borna left to follow his own path as a hero while Musashi, Xiuhtecut, Phalanx and the Druid were summoned back to serve the Overmaster. The group's leader the Immortal was killed by the Overmaster for his failure.
