Tashana was part of the ruling family of a peaceful and prosperous monarchy on an unknown world (pre-Crisis it was Earth-Six) alongside her daughter Princess Fern and husband Lord Volt. They and all the other inhabitants of the planet were killed in the Crisis by a wave of anti-matter. Lady Quark was saved at the last second by Pariah. She joined Pariah and Harbinger in helping Earths heroes defeat the Anti-Monitor and save the universe. After a being romantically rejected by Will Payton (Starman V) she left Earth and wandered the stars.

She was imprisoned by the pirate Dagon-Ra and only escaped when L.E.G.I.O.N attacked him. Afterwards she joined the L.E.G.I.O.N. team, but always remained something of a loose cannon. She was romantically linked with Captain Comet for a time before being killed in the line of duty.
