Power Girl (retconned) |
Pre-Crisis History
Real Name : Kara
Assumed Name : Karen Starr
Code Name : Power Girl
Marital Status : Single
Cousin : Kal-L aka Superman (Golden Age)

Powers : As a native of Krypton, Kara gained great strength, speed,
the ability to fly, virtual invulnerability and limited super senses from
exposure to yellow solar rays and the effects of Earth's lighter gravity.
Post Crisis
History
Real Name : Kara
Grandfather : Lord Arion
Grandmother : Lady Chian
Father : Calculha II
Brother : Khater
Group Affiliation : Justice League, Sovereign Seven
Powers : Infused with ancient magicks, and as a youth subjected to
genetic manipulation experiments by her Grandfather, Kara earned immense
strength. She also has a limited invulnerability and possesses the power of
flight.
Power Girl's history is probably the most screwed up by
the effects of "The Crisis on Infinite Earths". Her cousin, the Golden Age
Superman, was eradicated by the effects of the Crisis, and as a result,
Kara's Krypton never existed. The Arion Storyline was created to keep her in
the continuity. We were later told to believe that when she first came to
Earth, she though Kal-EL (Silver Age Superman) was her cousin. She has been
pictured as both a member of The Justice Society, and Infinity Inc.,
meanwhile we have been told she was not. In an issue of JLA when Kara runs
into Nuklon and Obsidian she says, "Who are you?"... Well, I have been
confused by the post-crisis continuity, and I can only say that I enjoyed
reading about Kara as both a member of The Justice Society, and Infinity
Inc., so I include her in my Infinity Inc. web site. |

The Silver Scarab |

Hector Sanders Hall

UCLA as a microbiology major
Group Affiliation : Infinity Inc. (Founding Member), later becomes
Dr. Fate IV and a member of The JSA
Powers : As The Silver Scarab, Hector wears a suit made of "Ninth
Metal". This metal was developed by his father, and improved upon by Hector.
The suit enables him to fly, and project solar powered ray blasts. As
Sandman, Hec lives in a place called The Dream Stream, while in it he can
monitor peoples dreams. He can project himself into the real world for one
hour every twenty-four hours. He can travel through the dream stream almost
instantaneously from anywhere in the world to any other place during the one
hour that he can exit the stream. He has extraordinary strength and still
retains the power of flight. |

The Star Spangled Kid / Skyman |
Sylvester Pemberton was an
active hero in the 1940's, he began his career on July 4th 1941 trying to
stop some Nazi sympathizers who started a riot in a movie theatre. Inspired
by the holiday, and the words of a patriotic police officer, he decided to
bring the American flag to life, and took on the identity of The Star
Spangled Kid. He soon came into contact with another hero, Stripesy, who was
inspired by the same events as Sylvester. Stripesy aka Pat Dugan became the
Pemberton family's chauffeur, and The Star Spangled Kid's partner in crime
fighting. They both began fighting alongside groups such as : The Seven
Soldiers of Victory, and The All Star Squadron. On an adventure with The
Seven Soldiers of Victory, he was caught in a temporal-limbo. He and The SSV
were later rescued by the combined efforts of The Justice Society of
America, and The Justice League of America. After this he was invited to
join the JSA....and did! During this time he met the original Starman, who
helped him develop a Cosmic Ray Belt, that gave him incredible powers. Later
he went on to found Infinity Inc. After much consideration he changed his
name from The Star Spangled kid to Skyman, as he became aware that he was no
longer a kid! Sylvester was murdered in Infinity Inc. # 51. He left behind a
legacy of heroism. |

Wildcat II |
Real Name : Yolanda Montez |
Infinity Inc. first appeared in All-Star Squadron #25; it was founded
in Infinity, Inc. #1-10 (The Generations Saga) by Star-Spangled Kid
(later Skyman), Power Girl, Huntress II, Fury II, Silver Scarab (later Sandman
III), Northwind, Nuklon, Jade, Obsidian and Brainwave Junior (later Brainwave
II). Huntress II was killed and retconned out of existence in the Crisis; Power
Girl survived, but her Infinity membership has been in question since the
Crisis. Subsequent recruits included Doctor Midnight, Hourman II and Wildcat II.
The team's in-house associates included Mister Bones (a chain-smoking, skeletal
super-crook with a cyanide touch and a heart of gold), the team's one-time foe,
who was released into their custody by the authorities and became a de facto
member of the team; Stripesy, the team's mechanic; Jonni Thunder, associate
private investigator and Skyman's girlfriend; and Solomon Grundy, Jade's pet
monster.
