| Background: |
| Earth-C is a world inhabited by
anthropomorphized
animals. When a strange meteor was in a collision course with Earth-1,
Superman intercepted the meteor, breaking it up into 6 pieces, which
fells through a dimensional portal to the world of Earth-C. One chunk
landed in the garden of comic book artist Roger Rabbit, who when he eats
his irradiated carrots, gains the powers of Captain Carrot. A second
piece of the meteor knocked steel worker Peter Pig into a vat of molten
steel, transforming him into the Porcine Powerhouse, Pig-Iron. The third
chunk of the meteor came into possession of stage magician , who became
Alley Kat Abra. The fourth chunk came to be possessed by the turtle who
became Fastback. The fifth and sixth chunks landed in the middle of a
celebrity interview between gossip columnist Rhona Barkitt and
movie star , who became the attractive and repulsive magnetic heroine
named Yankee Poodle and Rubberduck, the Malleable Mallard respectively.
On the parallel world of Earth-C during the days of the old Multiverse R.
Rodney Rabbit was a comic book artist in the city of Gnu York. When a
mystical meteorite being pursued by
Superman of Earth-One
exploded into six parts one of the parts landed in Rodney's carrot patch.
When the meek cartoonist ate one of the radioactive carrots he was
bestowed with superstrength and invulnerability for a short period. Using
an old Halloween costume be created the identity of Captain Carrot and
became the leader of the
Zoo Crew (a band of similarly powered animals). He helped stop
Starro with the Zoo Crew
and Superman. |
