Tula was the childhood sweetheart of Garth (Aqualad/Tempest). She was orphaned at birth and taken in by the royal family of Atlantis. She occasionally joined Garth on missions with the Teen Titans or with Aquaman, but mainly preferred court life in Atlantis. When Atlantis was ruled by a dictator she helped lead a revolt that restored Aquaman to power. She was killed by the chemical discharges of Chemo during the Crisis.
