Creedence Clearwater Revival after the Breakup.

The CCR members after the Breakup

Tom Fogerty
. . .started an not so successful solo career in 1972. He started the group "Rudy" in 1976
and that group disbanded in 1978. He died in his home in Arizona on the 6:th of September 1990.
He had been ill for a long time in tuberculosis.
After Tomīs death, an album was released. In 1993, with his widow Patricia Fogertyīs permission,
the LP "Sidekicks" was released, and on it was Tomīs last songs. Those songs was recorded together
with Randy Oda. It was released on Fantasy Records and has the # FDC9664-2.

John Fogerty
. . .was the man of CCR and did not let the crash of the band slow him down. He had a low profile
during the 70īs and spent all time in court, trying to get the rights to all the songs that he had
produced/written while being a member of the CCR. Some of his albums through the years:

There is also an album called "Rock'n'Roll AllStars" but I do not have the information on
when it was released. Do you know ? Please send me this information by E-Mail.
He do now have the rights to all the original CCR songs, and use them frequently when touring.
When the album "Premonition" was released, one new song was included, "Premonition".

With the band Creedence Clearwater Revival, John Fogerty created an unique fusion of rockabilly,
r&b and cajun. He wrote simple songs based on effective guitar riffs. Most of the songs between
1969 and 1970, are now among the GREATEST HITS IN THE WORLD. Those songs will never die in peoples
hearts. They are "survivals", YES, always the survivals........

Cook and Clifford
. . .joined the, not that successful, "Don Harrison Band" in 1976 and left the group in 1977. Then,
for some time during the 80`s, they joined up with "Steve Miller". Doug Clifford took some tunes with
"Doug Sahm" and Stu Cook traveled with "Southern Pacific". They are now, in 1997, 1998, back together
again, touring as "Creedence Clearwater Revisited". They released a double-CD in 1998 called
"Recollection", which includes only old songs from the Creedence Clearwater Revival era.
