Romansch is one of the four official languages of Switzerland, even though it is spoken by less than 1% of the population. It is spoken mainly in the southeastern canton of Graubünden (Grison), which borders Austria and Italy. Rhaeto-Romance is often used as a collective term to refer to Romansch and several closely related languages, Friulian and Ladin.
