This page is similar to Numbers in Over 4000 Languages, with a few obvious differences. First, I do not claim to have nearly as many languages. Second, I give the numbers in their original alphabets. And, most importantly, I offer Real Audio recordings of native speakers pronouncing the numbers.
I've also included a few pieces of information about each language: the classification of the language (family, sub-family, etc.), how many speakers there are, and where it is spoken. Some of this information was gathered from Ethnologue: Languages of the World.
Also Available: Click here to view all of the languages grouped according to how they are related.
At the top of each page, the name of the language is given in English and in that particular language (if different from English). I do not have native names for the following languages: Haida, Tatar, Tigrinya, and Uighur.
Linguistic Atlas of the World: Shows the names of the countries in the word written in the language which they speak. Also includes linguistic information on each country.
