suggested that you look at some sites related to areas of interest/coursework and incorporate
you findings on these sites into your own project.

A site dedicated to various African-American leaders throughout American history. The site
includes a list of good links for further information.
Civil Rights:

This site has a timeline with short descriptions of some major events from the civil rights
movement. It also has links to short biographies and articles on people and events, and is
fairly general and encyclopedic in style.

This site deals more with the recent history of the War on Drugs. It includes a variety of
statistics and a good table of contents that looks at drugs and its relation to society.

This site provides basic information for each President, but includes several links to more
detailed sites about particular Presidents. It is a good place to begin research.

Another general site with basic information that does a good job in linking numerous primary
documents to a President's page.
Radicalism:

This is the "Radicalism Collection" located at MSU's Special Collections. Among its material
are a variety of good primary documents. Topics include: AIM, Hollywood Ten, Black Panthers,
KKK, Birth Control movement, and Japanese-Americans.

This site is an outline for a course at Columbia University and includes movements from the
50's until now: Civil Rights, Peace Movement, GLBT, Environmental Movement, and Religious
Right are included. This site is useful mainly as a starting point to other research.
