While not as ubiquitous as artwork, music "faerie inspired" is just as beautiful. Tchaikovsky's "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy" may be the most widely known work, but Hamilton Harty's "Londonderry Air" is considered Faerie-inspired as well. Even modern-day musicians, both new-age and new-wave, tap the beauty of the fair folk. Wildly popular rain-girl Tori Amos puts her good word in for the fairies every chance she gets.
