Miroku is one of the Inuyasha Gang, and he's a monk. A somewhat...twisted monk, though. Miroku is a known pervert, and makes a pass at every girl he meets, asking them to bear his child. A twisted monk, perhaps, but not a useless one. Miroku's weapons are his staff, with holy powers invested in it, his seals and barriers that protect against demons, and his Kazaana (or Wind Tunnel, to American watchers). The Kazaana is a family curse placed on his grandfather by Naraku many years ago. It is a gaping hople in the palm of his hand. It eventually consumes the possesser with its own strength. Miroku had the misfortune of seeing his father consumed by his own Kazaana. Miroku cannot use the Kazaana if Naraku is involved, because that wily demon has poisonous insects that will sting Miroku if he sucks them in. Miroku's love interest is mainly, but not entirely, Sango.
