Chapter 4: A DNA Scramble
[Through Anna's eyes]
"This must be the place!" I said.
"There he is!" Lauren exclaimed. Indeed, she found
the criminal.
"Give back my report!" yelled Kiley.
We chased the criminal to a strange place. He entered
the back door, us following behind.
He went down the stairs...
"Stop, thief!!" That was Kiley.
...got a safety pin and started to pick a lock...
"You're not gonna get away with this!" This was from
Lauren.
...and was sitting on a seat tweaking some controls.
"Take your stupid report. It's the last you'll be
seeing it." The culprit said this with an evil tone. There was a ball of light
and...
"Anna, watch out!!" the twins screamed.
Huh? AACK!!" a ray hitting me!
"Oi, what hit me?" I started up, very confused about
what happened. My had was hur...wait a minute, was there something on my head?
"Um, Anna?" Kiley said, turning on a flashlight and
handing me a mirror. "If you're thinking the rabbit ears are fake, you're
wrong."
I looked in her mirror, she was right! There were
rabbit ears and a cat's tail on my body!
I think I'm gonna scream.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
