Below is a picture of the setup required for the calibration of the vibratory mechanism for a bone vibrator. The artificial mastoid is a Bruel and Kjaer 4930. The sound level meter is a made by Larkson Davis. Note that the artificial ear (between the SLM and artificial mastoid) is not used as part of the bone conduction calibration procedure.
