There are some tips helping you increasing productivity . Do you remember the first shortcuts you learn for Win or for MsWord ? . The following utilities can be applied to multiple applications.
1) Dialog Answer 1.1 - here (24KB) This freeware worth a lot. If you are tired pushing always
the same buttons on many applications this is for you !. Take a small example . I made a
shortcut that press Alt-I, N, M buttons on my Psp5.0 windows (i.e. Image, Noise, Median
Cut command) : 2) Joystick Control Center here (307KB) Use your joystick creatively. You can make shortcuts using
joystick buttons . So I can do the previous job just pushing button A !. I made shortcuts
to activate my Scanner on Photoshop , or automatically load some programs in Windows ...
Great !. Even if you do not have a joystick I strongly recommend to buy a cheap 4-button
one , not to play games but to use with this fantastic utility . 3) RtvReco 5.1b - http://www.rtvsoft.demon.co.uk or here (94KB) There are many utilities like this, but this was the first
. It pushes a button when a windows appears (Freeware) . 4) Sensiva - http://www.sensiva.com Make a simple draw pushing mouse right-click , and Sensiva
will run certain commands or hit some keys (Freeware) . 5) Cal.exe - here (39KB) Ms-Dos Calculator - Adding Machine (Freeware) . I have this
prog for about 5-6 years and I was searching the net for months in order to find something
equal or better for Win9x (Zdnet, WinFiles, Simtel etc) but I didn't !. Try it , it's small & free. 6) Excel Adding Machine - here (2 KB!) Adding Machine spreadsheet (.xls) . Some ideas are so
brilliant because they are so simple . Excel moves down the cursor after entering a
number. So I did not had so much pain for making my own A/M . Column enumeration
helps
finding fast how many data you entered . You can also use the Scroll/Lock button . I still
do not believe that I couldn't find any better a/m !.
** Gold Tip ** - How to NOT get confused with Duplex printouts .Many times I want to print in both sides using printers for first time or after a long time . The tip is easy: All you have to do is to "trace" the paper: 1) BEFORE make any printout, take a blank paper and write using a pencil in the upper left corner "1" . The flip vertically (mirror) the paper , and write in the same position "2" .
2) Now put the paper in the tray in a position you can see the "1"
properly .
Small Hardware Tips: - Buy a wheel mouse with 3 or 4 buttons (like Logitech Pilot Mouse). You will accelerate your job from the first hour !. Even if you don't buy anything, use Logitech (MouseWare) drivers . They are the best !.
