PIONEER CHAMPIONSHIPS (SCM) Zrenjanin, Vojvodina, Yugoslavia, March 10, 2001 |

| Upon the sponsorships of Zrenjanin Community in the organization of 'Proleter' Swimming Club, and under the patronage of Yugoslav Swimming Federation on March 10, 2001 was held the Top YU National Pioneer Championships 2001 (SCM). There were 126 participants. 17 Yugoslav Teams, 1 from Bosnia and Hercegovina and 1 from Montenegro. This event really showed the vitality of this sport and interest in young population for swimming in general. The new young and perspective women team
of the Swim Star 2000, SC Belgrade participated at one of the Republic
or the National Championshipsfor the first time. We were all very proud
and in the same time thankfull for their own efforts to do the best, just
at their first official competition. The staff and coach team really believe
that the new successes will soon arrive, firstly because of all their worthy
engagement at the training process since the beginning of the season 2000/2001.
