International Swimming Meeting
"Zrenjanin Cup '99"
Zrenjanin, Yugoslavia, December 11-12,1999

 
From this Meeting the new / old Coach of our swimmers and the chief consultant  became    Prof. Aleksandar Skanata the legend of Yugoslav Swimming since the year of 1977. As a Coach of the National Team, in 1990 we've got the Balkan Champions. During his engagement as a swimming coach in Red Star Swimming Club, Belgrade and the National selections, he has had over 420 senior records, 5 records in the Mediterranean games and 20 Balkan winners.

 In his third international meeting, Igor Rasula has made his new personal records this season in 50 m backstroke
 time 34,80 (short course), in 100 m backstroke 1:15,00  and 200 m free  2:25,14

This was the Meeting where our swimmer really had a wish to make his best
results especially in backstroke. The pleasant sport's center in the town of Zrenjanin
about 70 km North from Belgrade in the region of Banat has a tradition and experience
in organizing domestic and international swimming competitions. Special tribute to
Mr. Branislav Kostic Head Coach of the Swimming Club "Proleter" Zrenjanin
