Upon the organization of "Partizan" Swimming Club, Belgrade and Yugoslav Swimming Federation, YU National Championships (Long Course), were held in Belgrade. The competition joined in total 23 domestic Clubs with 209 competitors in absolute, junior and cadet categories.  The propositions were completely directed by the Yugoslav Swimming Federation and LEN and the competition was organized by the 50 m in-door pool (8 lines) of the Sport and swim complex of "25 of May", Belgrade,  from July  20 to 21, 2002. 
All timing was realized by 'Tronic' Team, SC Dinamo, Pancevo, Yugoslavia

Swim Star 2000 Team
Swim Star 2000 SC Belgrade swam to its 7 New medals   at the YU Nationals 2002 (LC) with 11 participants in junior category (Vukojicic, Kovacevic, Todosijevic and Plavsic), cadet category (Rasula, Radojicic, Kovacic, Miladinovic, Stankovic and Kosanovic) and pioneer category (Nadja Milojevic). Five New Yugoslav Records were set:
Milorad Cavic (Partizan SC) in 50 Free Junior (0:23.58) and 50 Back Junior (0:26.71), Ana Mandic (Partizan SC) in 50 Back Absolute (0:35.44), Mladen Tepavcevic (Beograd SC) in 50 Breast Absolute (0:28.90) and Borko Radojkovic (Crnica SC) in 200 I.M. Cadet (2:13.90)
