Prof. Aleksandar Skanata is born on September 22, 1951 in Belgrade, Yugoslavia. His marital status is married with one doughtier age of 18 and a son 1 year old. 

Prof. Aleksandar Skanata has graduated at Belgrade University the Faculty of Physical Culture and Education in 1980 with topic swimming. His profession is professor of physical education. 

Since 1977, Mr. Skanata was working as a swim coach in "Red Star" Swimming Club, Belgrade. At the present, he's still with the same club as a Head coach. Since 1990 he is also continually working as a Head Coach of Yugoslav Swimming Team. As a National coach, in the first year of his engagement in 1990 Yugoslav Team was the Balkan Champion. During his whole work as a swimming coach I has had over 420 senior YU records, 5 records in Mediterranean games, 20 Balkan winners. 

Mr. Skanata was working with the best Yugoslav swimmers such as: Nenad Milos, Zarko Mitrovic, Ana Kosuta, Svetlana Bogunovic, Srdjan Filipovic, Milos Katanic, Milos Jaksic, Olga Arsovic, Goran Radosevic, Aleksandar Comic, Maja Grozdanic, Maja Petrovic, Aleksandra Vuckovic. 

In 1990 Yugoslav Swimming Team was a winner team at the Balkan Senior swimming games and it also had the two B finals at European Senior Championships in Seville, in 1997. From that time Mr. Skanata  has a successful cooperation with Spanish Royal Swimming Federation and Swimming club La Coruna (XIX Trofeo de la Coruna, 1998), His last international pearls were Maja Petrovic and Marica Strazmester who had swam 4 senior YU records in La Coruna over 520 swimmers.

Hereby We certify that Mr. Aleksandar Skanata is a coach of Yugoslav Swimming team since 1990 and one of the leading persons in Yugoslav Swimming. 

Since Mr. Skanata joined Yugoslav Swimming team, there have been many records (more than 420 senior national records in his professional career as a National Coach), winnings and medals of the team like no before. At 1997 Yugoslav Swimming team was a team winner at Balkan Senior swimming games and also we had two B finals at European Senior Championships in Seville. 

We highly recommend Mr. Skanata for my question or position in world of swimming  and we keep the right to consult him about any matter concerning swimming in case that Mr. Skanata decide to transfer his knowledge to some other Federation.
