2004/2005 swim season in U.S.A. will join this year 6 Serbian guys and 2 girls at various parts of the United States, also the Schools/Colleges...

"El Grande" Mike Cavic is at Berkeley (CAL), I.Erhartic at Alabama (ASU), however introduce also, Darinka Savcic and Danilo Krvavac from St.John's (N.Y.), Igor Sevo from SMS (Missouri), Vladimir Sreckovic from SBU (N.Y.) and Marija Pavlovic from SRVL (San Ramon, CAL)...

M.Cavic
Milorad Mike Cavic (1984)
Junior (Jr.) of  Berkeley University of California (CAL, California)

Birthday: 1984, City of Anaheim, California

Although he is born in Anaheim (CA), Mike Cavic has started with his first swim competing in Serbia for Partizan Swimming Club, Belgrade on the late '90s... His first Olympiad he has been finished at Sidney 2000 but not so successfuly... Since that, and his entrance to the CAL University in 2001, upon the coaching of Thornton and Bottom,  just at the beginning of  the new 2003-2004 season Mike  succeed in breaking SCM World record in 50 Fly 50.02 at Dublin European Short Course Championships... In the mean time almost all SCG Junior and Absolute National records in free and fly were set by "El Grande Mike"... In July 2004 he participated Athens Olympic Games as the best SCG representative for the second time... No need to say more....

Igor Sevo (1981)

Sevo has returned as a part of the Bears’ young, backstroke corps... He finished fifth and eighth in the 200 and 100 back respectively at the Valley meet last season.... He also took sixth in the 400 individual medley, earning honorable mention all-conference honors...
Background: Sevo redshirted one year at Drury University prior to joining SMS... Before coming to the United States, he was a standout swimmer in YU National Team winning the 2001 National title in the 400 individual medley . . . Sevo was also the YU Swimmer of the Year in both 1997 and 1998 for his age group and he still holds the Junior National record in the 200 back

Background: till 2003, Igor Swam for Vojvodina Swim Club, SCG... He led SC Vojvodina to eight consecutive state titles from 1996-03, going undefeated in dual meets during that stretch... Member of YU National rec in 4x200 Free Relay...· Won a gold medal at the Balkan Games in the 400 freestyle...· Represented Yugoslavia (SCG) at two European Championships, World Champ in Barcelona 2003 and Athens Olympic Games 2004 in 200 and 400 Free (LCM)...

Darinka swam for more then 12 years... She has started at SC Vojvodina, Novi Sad where in youth categories won many titles and medals in the Region of Vojvodina and Serbia... In the course of 2001 she has moved to  US to study at the University Louisiana at Monroe (Florida)...
At St. John's University Darinka recorded a personal best BIG EAST B cut Qualifying time of 1:55.85 in 200 freestyle at the main regional competition Rutgers Invitational...

Danilo Krvavac (1982)

Danilo started swimming at Partizan Swimming Club, Belgrade since his early period, where he climbed to the national top in pioneer, cadet and junior categories... Since 2002 he has moved to Belgrade Swimming Club been  2 seasons coached in backstroke by Nenad Milos, three times former Yugoslav Olympian... From the course of 2003 Danilo started with his highest education at St. John's University (N.Y.) also joined its Red Storm (Men's Swimming team)... As a freshman in his first season Danilo with his Men's team finished sixth,  at 2004 BIG EAST Swimming & Diving Championships (February 2004).

Igor started swimming at his age of 7 coached by Prof. Maja Ivanisevic; 1998-1999 Coaches: Sergio Filipovic and Prof.Aleksandar Skanata; From 2000-2003 was coached by Dejan Ilic and in last season by Slavko Pamucina...
Main achievements: 1999. 12th at European Youth Meet Trento 1999, Italy in 100 Back; 2001. Cadet Vice Champion of Serbia in 1500 m Free;  2002  Triple Cadet Vice-Champion of Serbia and double Vice-Champion of Yugoslavia (in absolute) in 200, 400 and 1500 m Free (LCM);  2003. Gold in 100 Free (LCM) and 2 silver medals in 200 and 400 m Free(LCM) at LEN International event “Mainz USC 2003”, Germany;  2003 – 3rd (Bronze) – 400 Free, Yugoslav Junior Championships 2003 (LCM);   In 2004 - 3rd (Bronze) –1500 Free, Absolute Championships of Serbia (SCM)

Marija Pavlovic (1986)

Marija started swimming at Partizan Swimming Club, Belgrade where in last four season won many titles and medals in pioneer, cadet and junior categories, coached by Brigite Djordjevic and Prof.Matije Koprivica... Since September 2004 she has moved to San Ramon (San Francisco county) and is involving in San Ramon Valley Livermore Aquatics team...
SRVLA is part of the Pacific Swimming Local Swimming Community (LSC); which is part of the greater national governing body, USA Swimming.  Pacific Swimming is the second largest LSC in USA Swimming's 59 regional associations, and is made up of more than 120 swim clubs and more than 12,000 swimmers.

Vladimir started swimming at his born place in the town of Jagodina, Serbia.  Till he arrived to senior category, he won many titles and medals in pioneer and cadet categories... As a member of YU Junior National team he broke LCM record in 50 Breast Men 31.22 (Istanbul 2002) which is still actual...
Since September 2004 he moves to US and starts studying at the Stony Brook University (N.Y.) also joins the Seawolves (Men's Swimming Team)... The Seawolves started their 2004-05 season with a 145-95 loss to Army. However, newcomer, Vladimir Sreckovic, won the event with a time of 2:21.26, followed by teammates, Alekseyev, Schursky and Berkowitz.
