Rari Nantes Marche Team

Since 2001, our close sport & swim friend has become Team Marche CIS Swimming Club, Falconara (Italy). This Club has been founded in the course of 1997 by a number of enthusiasts-parents with the purpose to enable their children to train and compete also to have the best possible opportunities for their physical and mental growths. The Club takes particularly care of its swimmers, specially in domain of younger categories. The Board of directors is composed by volunteers who organize the complete Club's activities without any financial return. SPORTIVA Soc.Coop company had the main role in the basic Club's development, also  C.I.S. (Centro Intercomunale Servizi), Technoplast, Odival Tour, Barchiesi Sport, Rist. Siamo Noi, and many others. 
Team Marche CIS Swimming Club has four sectors:
  *  Swimming: The Younger categories up to 11 years the girls and 12 years the boys are affiliated to Team Marche. The older ones are in the Association called A.S. RARI NANTES MARCHE, which has been promoted by Mr. Armando Osmani and founded in 2001 together with two other prestigious teams: Ippocampo Civitanova Marche and S.S. Nuoto Loreto.
  *  Water Polo: Team Marche joins 5 teams which compete in various leagues and championships. Three male teams are in "Serie D" (Division IV), Juniors and Esordienti. Two female teams are in "Serie C" (Division III) and Juniors.
  *  Masters: Master Swimming
  *  Synchro: Synchronized Swimming.
Rari Nantes Marche Association is honored to have one great youth Champion: Ms. Andrea Levantesi. Ms. Andrea Cimadamore has won several medals at last two Italian Junior Championships and Ms. Nicoletta Cerioni has been the participant of many finals. Rari Nantes Marche is the first team in the Italian  Marche Region for the categories "Ragazzi" and "Juniors" and is among the best teams in Italy in these categories. 

As on the kind invitation from Mr. Armando Osmani to our Club let us present the marvelous 
2nd International Trophy C.I.S.
that has been held in Moie di Maiolati Spontini, Ancona, Italy, Oct. 12-13, 2002 
This year eight different nationalities sent serious teams at this invitational age group event. For the second year the Czech team KPS Ostrava has won the competition with 588 points followed by Hellas Sittard (Netherlands) 520 points and West Swim Esbjerg (Denmark) 507 points. Next ones were: SC Zagreb (CRO) 436 points, Rari Nantes Marche (ITA) 394 points, Atlantide Agno (SUI) 382 points, Delphin Gruenstadt (GER) 203 points and SC Ljubljana (SLO) 77 points. 
KPS Ostrava Team
KPS Ostrava (Czech Republic) - Winner of the 2nd International Trophy C.I.S.
  Some of the world-class swimmers took part in the event. Jacob Carstensen former World Champion (1997 - 400 free) and bronze medallist in Moscow 2002 (400 m IM) won four out of five finals, also with an excellent time in 100 IM (0:57.29).   Luka Gabrilo from the Swiss Team has won the 100 m backstroke (time 0:55.97). Martin Kresta, former swimmer of the National Junior Czech team, who had his debut in the senior category, offered very good performances, too. Also many others from Croatia, Denmark, Czech Republic and Switzerland gained important points to their teams. Among the Female swimmers in evidence Tamara Stonova from Czech Republic, Linda Van der Ejnden (NED) and Micha Østergaard (of the Danish junior national Team).
  Rari Nantes Marche did the best, especially  with its talents of the junior category: Andrea Cimadamore (three gold medals), Andrea Levantesi (one silver) and Alessio Papaveri one bronze among the males. Nicoletta Cerioni with three silver and one bronze medal among the Females. Also the Male 4 x 100 m Freestyle Relay has gained a gold medal and silver in the 4 x 50 m Medley. In the younger younger category (Ragazzi), Federica Sincini touch to her bronze and in the two men's relays (4 x 50 m Medley and 4 x 100 m Freestyle) our friends from Rari Nantes Marche won a bronze and silver medals.

The Presidency and all members of Swim Star 2000 Swimming Club, Belgrade would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the Meet Committee and supporters for the marvelous organization of this excellent European swim event, also to the participants from RN Marche who really confirmed all their potencies. Belgrade's mates express the sincere thanks especially for Mr. Osmani's invitation and we all hope that 3rd C.I.S. Swim Trophy shouldn't be started without our youth dolphins...
