The Championships of
Serbia 2002 (short course pool) were held under the complete organization
of "Viktorija" Swimming Club, Zrenjanin, the Community of the town of
Zrenjanin and upon the patronage of Serbian Swimming Association, Belgrade.The
Organizing Committee thanks to more then 160 athletes from 25 domestic
Clubs, those took part in the competition. Due to the propositions and
dicision of the headquarter of Serbian Swimming Association the event
joined three categories together: cadets, juniors and seniors. Each category
was closed. The propositions were directed by the Yugoslav Swimming Federation
and LEN and the Championships took place by the 25 m indoor pool (8 lines)
of the Sport Complex in the town of Zrenjanin, Vojvodina from Saturday,
March 9 to Sunday, March 10, 2002.
