16-year old National Record in 4 x 100 m Medley Relay Men is broken finally at this European Championships in Madrid... Just to remember, the old record was set by SC Partizan, Belgrade Team (Jokovic, Cabafi, Rezmanj and Kapor) in the town of Rijeka (now Croatia) in July of 1988. The new record holders are: Beretic, Tepavcevic, Markovic and Erhartic... Time 3:48.87 (15th place in total)... Congratulations !!! See the details in the table bellow:

MADRID, Spain, May 12th --- In the afternoon Vladan Markovic, SCG Record Holder really did his best in 200 m Fly Semi Final. In the 2nd group Markovic has touched the 5th (time 2:00.78), which ranked him to the 11th place in Europe for 2004.
 
In this moment this is the worthiest achievement of all participants from Serbia & Montenegro at the M-86 Pool in Madrid. The cold and drizzly Spanish capital without the continent's two strong swim powers from Germany and Britain, sent us the brightness this evening. Congratulations from Belgrade's Mates... Athens 2004 is waitin' for you !!!

Belgrade, May 05, 2004 ----- The best swimmers of the Republic of Montenegro, SCG Champions, members of SC "Jadran" Herceg Novi, and the youngest members of the National SCG Team at this LEN European Championships 2004 will be Ms. Danijela Djikanovic (1983) and Mr. Matija Jaukovic (1985)
  To present these two worthy athletes, here in our country, or at the Balkan, is no need.... Just to say: the actual record holders of Montenegro, also in the Union of Serbia & Montenegro (in cadet, junior also senior categories), the best backstrokers especially Danijela Djikanovic who is also the present SCG Record holder in 50 Fly (LC) 0:28.62. Her best 50 Back is 0:31.19 and 100 Back 1:05.94... We all hope to see 1:05.54 broken (SCG "B" Olympic Standard)...
Matija Jaukovic, the Absolute Champion of Serbia & Montenegro for 2003 in 200 Back (LC) 2:12.86 is now on his way to be closer  to SCG Olympic "B" standard in 100 m Back 0:56.29...also 200 m Back.

Belgrade, April 29,2004. ---- After the Austria International Meeting 2004 in Wien last weekend, the final list of Serbia & Montenegro Team is being done. In Madrid, the colors of our National flag will be defended by 7 of our best swimmers. Until now just the two of them have already swam out the SCG Olympic Committee "B" standard for Athens 2004 and we all hope that others will fulfilled their dreams and swim the fastest they have ever had just in Spain.
Marina Kuc (1985) member of SG Essen (GER)  is the new women's name in SCG National team and we shall see her  swimming in 50, 100 and 200 breaststroke. Igor Erhartic (1984) Alabama State Univ.,USA will find himself in his 200 and 400 m freestyle men - we are sure with the New National records. Nenad Milos, Headcoach, expects that  Mladen Tepavcevic(1976) should enter in 50 and 100 m breast men finals. Igor Beretic (1981) and Danijela Djikanovic (1983) will swim   in 50, 100 and 200 m backstroke and also in 50 butterfly. Vladan Markovic (1977), just the "fresh Olympian", can cool down and be relaxed which should help him to do his best in 100 and 200 butterfly men. His trainer Prof. Aleksandar Skanata will be there for a last minute advice. At the end, the youngest of all our swimmers is Matija Jaukovic (1985) member of "Jadran" SC, Montenegro - he will try to get on the top 25 in 50, 100 and 200 m backstroke men. Good luck to all...
