In the town of Jagodina
(Central Serbia) on August 20, 2000 held an excellent Swimming Competition,
one of the best organized in this year. The complete organization has been
in jurisdiction of Swim and Waterpolo Club "Pivara"
Jagodina. Thanks to the kind people with Mr. Zoran Ciric, president
at the top for fantastic day spent in Jagodina, and professional
competition which is going to become the traditional sport event in the
next years.

Swim
and Waterpolo Club
Over 90 athletes from 12 Yugoslav
swimming clubs competed in three categories: young pioneers (1988 and younger),
pioneers (1986-1987) and cadets (1984-1985). Pioneers swam 50 m distance
and cadets 100 m in all disciplines. Extremely hot and dry day in Jagodina
didn't enable good results (at over 40 deg.C). Also this period is mainly
locked for all swimming club's activities .

One of the chief promoter
of this Meeting became Mr. Sergio Filipovic,
member of Swim Star 2000 SC foundation, our former Coach and the new trainer
of "Gente di Nuoto" SC, Ascoli, Italy.
Regrettably, this was the
last meeting where Mr. Igor Rasula, our captain and the best swimmer were
having two trainers by himself -:) In this summer period Mr.
Sergio Filipovic helped us with some new advice, the snaps in technique,
especially in the training process. Also he brought a new optimism for
the next season. From September 1, 2000 he is going to take "Gente di Nuoto"
Club from Ascoli Piceno (Italy). We wish him and his new team many successes
and the best places.

Well sport cooperation between
our club's presidency and "Pivara" SC, Jagodina, we used this time for
some treaties about the new concept of financing of many swimming competitions
in our country.
We have to send our thanks
to Mr. Dragisa Denic Coach and manager, Mr. Mica Vracevic, vice president
and Mr. Zoran Ciric, President of 'Pivara' SC, Jagodina
Special thanks to Mr.
Slobodan Savic, one of the manager of "Pivara" SC, Jagodina and
a man who strongly insisted on Igor Rasula and "Swim Star 2000" SC participation
to this event. We hope that we did not disappoint him. Thanks, see you
the next year.
