| Hi 2 all. We've just finished the season 1999/2000. "Euromalc - Summer in Zrenjanin 2000" was definitely the last competition where our athletes participated in this arduous year. The meet was held in the town of Zrenjanin about 70 km north from Belgrade. In the beautiful open sport and swim center (50 m pool), for the second time this year, during the "Beer's days" ceremony, 'Proleter' swimming club organized interesting swimming event for YU swimming talents. There were two categories in general: young pioneers (1988 and younger) and pioneers (1986-1987). Everything was excellent except the weather. Up to 40 deg. C were in shade on that day. Our athlete Mr. Igor Rasula won 2 medals. Hope that somebody should find some nice pictures here, especially swimmers from Kikinda, Delfin (Ada), Zrenjanin, etc. In next days we'll try to get the completely results of the meet and after that all those will be hung here. Tribute to Mr. Misha Popov and host people from Zrenjanin for this nice event. Hope we'll be there next year with some new swimmers. |

Pursuant to extremely hot
day, and a 20-day pause in his training this summer, Igor Rasula in 100
m free touched 3rd and won the bronze medal in not so good time (1:08.18)

| Ms. Marijana Popmijatov, Yugoslav junior and senior champion in 2000, out of the congruency swum in 100 m breaststroke to retort her fans from Zrenjanin for their love all these years (time 1:20 unofficial). Prof. Branislav Kostic, Coach of Ms. Popmijatov and our great friend, found a patience for this image also he wanted to send his best regards to all athletes and to Presidency of our Club. | At the end of the season Swim Star 2000, Swimming Club, Belgrade would like to thanks to all people, institutions, sponsors and our faithful fans for their kindness and understanding, also the continual effort to help us to reach the new successes, especially of our younger swimmers and complete team. We have to say that the biggest bulk was fallen at Igor's an Mr. Ilic's backs. And the congratulations belong to these two guys, of course. So, thanks to you two, go on with your worthy works, we're sure you're the future of Yugoslav swimming. |  |
