VI National Pioneer Swimming Meeting
"Cigota Cup 2000"
Zlatibor, Yugoslavia, November 4, 2000
In the fantastic sport and health destination of Cigota rehabilitation Center, Zlatibor mountain, Central Serbia, Yugoslavia, the traditional swimming event for the younger categories was held for the 6th time. It was the first competition in the new 2000/2001 season. Pursuant to the present situation in the country, many swim and general sport activities are paused for a moment. However, 13 domestic clubs, also Banja Luka SC (from Republic of Srpska) took part in the competition with more then 170 athletes. Tribute and thanks to Mrs. Jelena Jovanovic, Meeting director and her colleagues from Cigota SC, Zlatibor for all their efforts to maintain and to continue the tradition of this fantastic event.

Igor's worming up
 This year, for the third time in his career our Club's color was represented by Igor Rasula. The new season is opened marvelous for himself. Two personal records were broken. 50 m backstroke  Igor swam for 0:34,51 (ranked 4th in total) and  50 m freestyle 0:29,54 ranked 5th (hand timing). As Igor expects the important Int'l Swimming Meeting VIII "Ante Lambasa Memorial", next week in Belgrade, our athlete used this meet as a checking event. All our members and fans wish him good swimming and many new successes. Go on mates with swimming, although we all know that you have many problems and unfortunately no adequate conditions.
