The
3rd edition of the Open International ‘Ilindan’ Swim Festival “Ovcar-Kablar
Mini Marathon 2003” was held by the most picturesque and holy part of Serbia
(Ovcar-Kablar Gorge of Zapadna Morava River). Two races were organized
at the distance of 400 m (for younger) and the main one at the distance
of 2100 m. More then 60 competitors took part in the events. Prof.
Dragan Savkovic, Marathon Director, Tourist organization of Cacak,
Assembly of the town of Cacak, "Cacak" Swimming Club and Serbian Swimming
Association would like to express their gratitude for all participants
of this great open water competition with a wish to have them next year
in Serbia for the 4th time. This is also the chance to invate all others
who intend to compete and participate in this event, also the media, donators
and firms who should eventually have an interest and would like to be involved

"Igraj za zivot - izaberi sport" treci otvoreni medjunarodni Ilindanski
plivacki festival “Ovcar-Kablar mini maraton 2003” odrzan je u izvanrednim
uslovima u jednom od najlepsih i najduhovnijih krajolika centralne Srbije
Ovcarsko-Kablarska klisura na reci Zapadna Morava. Od manastira Sv. Nikolje
uzvodno do mosta u Ovcar banji na distanci od 400 m organizovana je 'Trka
zadovoljstva' koja ce od ove godine nositi naziv "Memorijal Radosa Vukosavljevica",
dok je na distaci od 2100 m organizovana glavna maratonska trka. Ucesce
je uzelo ukupno oko 60 takmicara iz 12 plivackih klubova iz Srbije, kao
i jedan iz Holandije.
Potrebno je posebno istaci da su
ovogodisnji maraton posebno pomogli Skupstina opstine Cacak, Turisticka
organizacija Cacak (TOC), Srpska Pravoslavna Crkva, Sportski Centar iz
Cacka, Plivacki Svavez Srbije, Plivacki klub 'Cacak', a u medijskom delu
RTS Radio Televizija Srbije, Televizija Cacak, Cacanski Glas, Sport i Sportski
Zurnal iz Beograda. Beogradska industrija piva (BIP) obezbedila je robne
nagrade, a od sponzora posebu zahvalnost organizator izrazava prema 'Zepter'
banci, Kompaniji 'Velimirovic' inzenjering, Ovcar Banji i dr.

maratona poziva sve ucesnike, kao i sve one koji imaju zelju da dodju u
Cacak sledece godine za Sv. Iliju i uzmu ucesca u ovoj izvanrednoj plivackoj
