DIARY 
Girl-girl was adopted but later "returned" as the family blamed her for the
eczema on one of the family's members. Girl-girl ran away from Ms.Lee's house one
day and was never found.
Mimi came to reside at Metta Cattery sometime in March 2000.
On the 30th of March 2000, she gave birth to 3 kittens.
Not long after Mimi was neutered, she died, probably from FIP infection. 
Tommy was neutered on 8th April by Dr. Ang at Metta Cattery.
Nala
and
Kitty were both neutered.

15th July 2001; Sharon wrote:
"hi all Nala was brought to dr ang last evening because found we her trying very hard to try to push something out from her mouth & her 2 front paws were stained. jenny & i opened her mouth to check & found her gum in a mess. we decided to send to the clinic. dr ang said she was having bad ulceration & lacerations in her mouth, which could be clinical signs of FIV or FeLV. however, there's no need to run any of the tests as she'll still die of FIP ultimately (bottom line is the presumption of FIP +ve). even if she's tested +ve for any of them, we're still faced with the same decision - to treat her current situation, ie secondary symptoms, or euthanise her since she'll not be able to eat with those things in her mouth & would eventually die of dehydration, unless we force-feed her. another thing with FIV or FeLV (can't remember which one leow?!) is her kidneys would fail. therefore she advised that we run some tests on her kidneys 1st before proceeding to do anything else as if her kidneys have really failed, whatever we do to correct mouth problem would be of no use & the option of euthanasia wld be a better choice for the cat. thank goodness, her kidneys are perfectly. dr ang will proceed with the scaling tomorrow as it was already late, & can be discharged thereafter. i'll give dr ang a call again tomorrow to chk on her status. |

"Animal Clinic just called.Nala is eating well, so can go back leow. Total bill-$347.03. Very expensive. Jenny will pick her up later" 4.28pm Jenny sms: "On the way to the cattery with Nala". |

12th July 2002 Seen by Dr Daphne Ang of Animal Clinic for very bad ulcerations. Teeth scaling done. Cost 123.60 |
