| Story of Mew Mew aka Mui Mui |

"I'm always pleading with my parents to get her back but the house is always empty as no one is ever home and plus, we are done with the maid. Therefore, their main concern is that, mui mui will be all alone, shut at home most of the time. Mui Mui was born in a big rubbish chute. Some students found her and took turns trying to bring him home. But their parents always objected. So Mui Mui shifted from one home to another without proper care. One day, i met a friend and told me about it. So i decided to keep him. Separated from his mum since birth, i had to bottle feed him. I brought him out once (to meet other cats, silly me) and one big cat came and pounced on her. He bled. Since then, whenever he sees any cat, his tail will fuzz, hair stands and claws comes out. That explains for his dislike for the cattery at first. Then i brought another kitten back. Just born. She was smaller than the size of my palm. Also bottle fed it. And they'll both fall asleep beside me. Mui Mui got used to Mao Mao and they both got along very well. But one day, on their usual 5am routine, Mao Mao was stolen (for the 2nd time). My whole family was really distraught. I was afraid the person didn't know how to take care of her. I stick pictures and pleas and searched the whole neighbourhood but to no avail. U see, Mao Mao is a very loving kitten. Very 'manja'. Mui Mui misses her alot, i could tell. Shortly after that, my granny pass on. So thats why my faithful housekeeper also went home. I could feel mui mui was very affected by the absence of my granny, housekeeper and mao mao. Coz they were very close together. Mui Mui cried too (with me), the day my granny died.My sister fell really ill after that. That's when my parents wanted to send mui mui to the cattery. I still walk around the neighbourhood in search of Mao Mao. Now she'll be much bigger. And visited mui mui. But mostly, i'll go to the cattery at a wrong time when no one is around so i'll turn back. Everytime, the sight of mui mui always makes me cry. How thin he was, how fat he became, how he hogs the bowl from the other kittys and finished the last bit of food, the blood stains on his body... I spoilt him on the food, i guess. It's funny how i didn't know how to determine the sex so i have always thought that both Mui Mui and Mao Mao were female cats. That's why i have to keep editing my 'she' to 'he'. But still, i think what you all are doing is so great. It's something alot of people will want to do but won't or can't. Something like a cartoon super hero. So i wanna thank all of you. I'm next to be out of the house after mui mui. But my place will not be ready till next year. So till then, i hope i can give mui mui a new home. But the poor thing got to re-adapt again. Thank you all for being so kind and patient with me. Yours Sincerely, janice. |

be about one year old.
