DIARY

8th April 2000 : Boh-Kwai was neutered at Metta Cattery by Dr. Ang
24th June 2001 : Boh Kwai has urinary tract blockage & needs to be catheterised.
25th June 2001 : Boh-Kwai has a urinary catheter inserted to drain the bladder. There was a lot of "sand" in his bladder, causing the infection and the blockage to his urine flow. The catheter will be removed on Saturday if the urine is clear. There is a high likelihood of the condition recurring. Prevention will be by giving him a Presciption diet (c/d) which will be expensive but hopefully prevent a relapse. Should the condition recurs, then an option is to perform a "sex-change" surgery so the he has a wider "opening" to pass urine. We will put him on the special diet. We haven't got the bill for Boh-Kwai yet but I think will be in the region of $200 plus. Jo Tan has kindly agreed to sponsor Boh-Kwai's Vet fees.
26th June 2001, 8.15pm : Sharon's SMS "Just left the Animal Clinic. Bok-Kwai is alright. He is not used to being confined and wanted to come out. He is eating ok and pee is flowing ok from catheter."

Speedy Recovery Rap
(To the rhythm of R&B for Boh-kwai)

"I am 'bad',
I am 'bad',
Though I am not
Exactly 'black'.

I do not 'mae'
Not like a sheep,
I am not 'black' or 'bad';
Like the Terminator,
I will be back!"
