Adidas was born at

One of 4 kittens. One died at the Animal Clinic on the 15th of May 2000. The 3 surviving siblings are called Nike , Adidas and Reebok. Adidas and Reebok are only about half the size of Nike. It is likely that Adidas is suffering from a viral infection called FIP.

3rd June 2000	Adidas was vaccinated
August	Adidas is treated with Olive Leaf Extract and Maitake Mushroom Extract.
17th November 2000	Adidas was neutered ($90) and vaccinated ($32) by Dr. Ang of the Animal Clinic (Clementi). Total cost sponsored by Ms. Jenny Ong.
23rd March 2001	Adidas was noted to be wobbly.
24th March 2001	Sharon took her to the vet today. Sharon's SMS:"Hi, I've sent Adidas to Animal Clinic. She was seen by Dr. Nathan. I don't want to deprive her of chance of longer lifespan. It could be a case of severe ear-mites. Dr. Nathan will treat secondary symptoms of ear-mites and possible swelling of the brain for the next 72 hours and see if she is reacting to the medication. Else will send her back to the cattery to live out her life."
26th March 2001 3.11pm	Sharon wrote:"Hi, called Dr Nathan & she reported Adidas doing better. her evidence - eating a lot, putting up more resistence when given medication. But wobbliness, not too sure because she didn't let her out. Dr Nathan is very careful when comes to fip +ve. So, decision is whether to keep her at the clinic to finish full course of medication or discharge her & we medicate her ourselves?" Sharon's SMS at 10.28pm:"Adidas is better-alert and walking steadily.Medication includes injections and tablets; I will medicate her after work at Linda's place (Linda has kindly agreed to bring Adidas home tomorrow to recuperate). I can see that Dr. Nathan is taking good care of her."
29th March 2001	Update on Adidas: Linda wrote:"Adidas seems well enough to go home tomorrow. She is walking, eating, pooing and peeing normally. I notice she is also more friendly than when she arrived - although she still has not got over her phobia of dogs, even an old toothless one! Sharon and Jenny who have been visiting her everyday and giving her the medication and injection thinks she need not be confined but I will verify this with the vet tomorrow." Love Linda
30th March 2001	Update on Adidas: Sharon's SMS:"Spoken to Linda. Adidas is doing well at the cattery. She is confined just to make sure she is eating, poo-ing and pee-ing. She can be let out tomorrow if all ok. Thanks to Linda for all her invaluable help." Adidas' vet fees were sponsored by Sharon
4th June 2001	Adidas left the realm of animals after a protracted illness. May she be happy and free from suffering in the next existence.
