Sometime in September of 2003, someone was about to abandon two very frightened kittens at the back of a town council office when a cat lover passed by and rescued them to MettaCattery

They are a beautiful pair of male kittens.

Yati named them Gizmo and Fluffy.

With his curled fluffy tail, Gizmo looks like a puppy.

They were adopted within a few days of being at the cattery.

They are now back at the Cattery for boarding as the adopters are on holiday overseas.

Fluffy

25th December 2003: The adopters defaulted in their commitment to care for these two very manja kittens.

They are now up for re-adoption.

It is so easy to fall in love with Fluffy and Gizmo.

I think fate has also played a part in bringing Simba with Gizmo and
Fluffy. Simba is closer to Gizmo, he tags along behind Gizmo everytime he's
in the kitchen. Somehow I think he knows that Fluffy is not too happy about
his overwhelming enthusiasm, so he's not as "hysterical" around Fluffy. But
at least Fluffy is now more daring and this morning, he stayed in the
kitchen for a longer time than usual. He does not appear to be as nervous
as before when he's in the same place as Simba. But if Simba goes near to
lick him, he'll stand up and walk away:) Simba does not chase him like he
chases Gizmo, perhaps he senses some "signal" from Fluffy not to come too
close:-)

Fluffy is getting along much better with Simba now, he does not even mind the occasional 'kiss' from Simba:-)

He's definitely at ease around Simba. What can I say? These 3 are amazing, though the brothers did not grow up with Simba, they've accepted him as a friend. It's not just Simba who doesn't mind some of his food getting 'stolen' at times, Fluffy and Gizmo show no objection either when Simba eats their food:-)

Most of the time, they do stick to their own food though.

He was found missing at around 11am on the 14th of April, at Blk 243 Yishun Ring Road. My parents and I had searched on the different storeys and nearby areas but could not find him. Anyone who sees him, please kindly contact me at *****.

Thanks so much.

Subject: Fluffy is home at last:)

Fluffy has been found at last, and everyone at home is very happy:) One of my neighbours found him near the stairs on the ground floor of my block last night, recognised him from the poster, and brought him back:)

I didn't find him when I was looking for him before that with Simba, and I'm really thankful she found him. He's fine and safe, just tired, hungry and a bit dirty:) Went straight for food bowl when I put him down. Funny thing was Gizmo and Simba didn't appear more excited than usual, and Gizmo just laid on the floor, lazily looking at Fluffy, like he never left in the first place. Perhaps they knew Fluffy will return sooner or later, or maybe Fluffy told them about his plan in advance:)

Please forward this mail to all the volunteers. I'd like to say a big thank you to everyone who responded to my call for help and for forwarding it to people you know, please tell your friends that Fluffy is home and convey my thanks to them on my behalf. I really appreciate the advice, concern, encouragement and prayers of cat lovers who don't know me, but who all share the same love for cats. It truly gave me more hope of finding Fluffy at a time I was feeling despair and wondering when I'll see him again. Words cannot describe my feelings of gratitude to all who helped and wrote to me. Thank you once again.
