Sometime in late November 2003, this little kitten was taken away from its mother while it was still suckling and left in an elevator. A member of the staff of a school for expatriate children, stumbled upon this little weak kitten.

She brought it to MettaCattery .

She has to go away for 3 weeks and so left this little kitten in the care of Nellie.

These photos were taken at about 8pm on the 2nd of December 2003.

Siew Ying named it Nutmeg.

We hope it would live.

But it passed away on the morning of the 3rd of December 2003.

Prayers will be recited with the motivation that Nutmeg be reborn into the heavenly realm of the Western Paradise where environment is perfectly conducive for Nutmeg to develop spiritually to enlightenment for the benefit of all sentient beings.
