Lenny Blade of Incinerator - Back

1. How did the band get started? How did you meet and how long have you been together?

Lenny Blade: Me and a cool pothead named Agi´c got together and thought that we should save this fucking race of ours called humans, so we wrote some thrashmetal songs and some social/Anti-everything lyrics. Thats when we released our first shit "Order of chaos". This was in the year of our beer 1995-96. We tried out alot of people for the second guitar and drum spots, but most folk didn´t work out and occasionally my brain got an eruption or two...

Later (No kidding) we released our second demo called "...In your face " Which was the last recording Agi´c participated in. Then he got some sort of braindamage too (Not as big as mine though) and started to write riffs that sounded more in the Machinehead/Pantera vein so we just had to part ways with him after that. Cause we are a Speed/Thrash metal band and not some... well ya´all got the idea right?

We changed some members and recorded the "Thrash Attack" Mini cd, which are now in the stores! Although it was supposed to be a demo at first but we drank all our money up as usual, and the little money we had left we spent on Polish "Turbo" Bootleg Cass-EPs. Ahhh... Then soundriot had the courage enough to sign us. I think you can figure out the rest.

2. How would you describe your music?

Lenny Blade: A mix between Brain damage, execution and Intoxication!

3. What are your biggest influences?

Lenny Blade: I just listen to what my Brain has to say... Damn it! It says nothing! Alright I just have to try by myself! My fave mutilators at the moment are among others are: Repugnant, Rotten Sound, old Kreator, Asphyx, Nile, Terrorizer, Impetigo, Macabre, Hypnosia and Cryptic Slaughter.

4. What influence do you think your bands has in music and metal today?

Lenny Blade: What Influence? Hmmm... I ... don´t know! Nothing special I think maybe we will twist some minds on our thrashmetal assault on the world, but I don´t think people notice us as an Influence.

5. What made you want to be in the band? And if you weren’t in the band what would you be doing now?

Lenny Blade: At first I wanted to be like my idols Slayer. But what I thought of when I started Incinerator I have already tried to explain but its fun to get in contact with other sickos and failures out there!

6. Are any band members in side projects? If so what are they, and explain a little about them.

Lenny Blade: With this line up Me and Matsson are annoying the members of Nominon by playing bass and guitar with them. Mattsson actually originates (!) from Nominon. We have been recording our debutalbum in sunlight studios in ´98.

7. How would you feel if a band took their sound from yours and became very well known?

Lenny Blade: I would send my brain at them. And with a fury worthy of one thousand Kerry Kings, it would burst forth armed with only insanity and smash them into Ashes.

8. What current bands do you like or respect?

Lenny Blade: Swedish Repugnant , Hypnosia, Thornclad, Merciless, Nasum, Butchery, Serpent Obscene, Maze of torment, Holocaust, Anata the list goes on and on (as usual).

9. How many demos/albums do you have? Tell me about them!!

Lenny Blade: I sit on a collection of about 150 demos, 400 Vinyls, 50 7"s, 200 Cds, a couple of hundred copied tapes and so on. My brain says his proud of them. So am I, even if its not much.

10. What demo/album do you like the best?

Lenny Blade: I like to gather useful information to my future plans when I listen to them. Its impossible to name a favourite. Macabre! Kreator! hmmm... sorry. Sudden outbursts of evil.

11. What is the meaning behind the songs?

Lenny Blade: Its different to every song (No its not... Not in theory, but it sounds better.) We got so many topics (Tropics?) that it would take the size of the entire Oskarshamn Phonebook to explain. Just drink, be crazy and have fun! Don´t think too much about anything when you get massacred by the Incinerator Execution Squad (I.E.S)!!!

12. What are the bands favorite songs?

Lenny Blade: Uhh... we like our first demo and the "Thrash Attack " Songs the best because... Well some songs on the second demo are great too.

13. What does the future hold for the band?

Lenny Blade: Hard drinking, Crazy moshing, outbursts of evil, Random violence and hopefully a new full-length rapemassacre (ooh... I´m so bad!) Damn I´m pathetic, don´t you think?.

14. If you could play with any band who would it be and why?

Lenny Blade: Probably Macabre, Abba or S.O.D. Why Abba? You ask yourself. Well sometimes my mind skips a thought or two.

15. Who writes the majority of the music?

Lenny Blade: My, myself and I! Of course the whole I.E.S. has input in the strategy of our assault on this poser-world!

16. Who has been the favorite band you’ve played with and why?

Lenny Blade: Well. With Incinerator we played once with a Grind/Death/Mosh band called Hellmasker and they just ruled!!

17. Where did you get the band name from?

Lenny Blade: It means nothing. I just think its a cool name, don´t you?

18. Describe what the band is like live?

Lenny Blade: Headbanging, Moshing, Screaming, Intoxication, Bleeding, Ripping, Brain damage and Occasonal Bus-stops!

19. If you are gonna do any kind of video what would be in it?

Lenny Blade: Damn! You have great questions! I wish everyone had as good questions as you, but they don´t. I think it would be some sort of a mix between a Warmovie and People going insane or something, hahaha!! I´m so sorry! I´m ruin your great questions with worthless answers but hey, Nowadays its hard to get something of value out of me, and I´m not talking excretion-wise!

20. Are there any touring plans made; if so tell me about them?

Lenny Blade: We have no organised Invasions yet , but we will see what strategics at the HQ in portugal has.

21. Where do you think the band will be 20 years from now?

Lenny Blade: In a mentalinstitution or a metalinstitution. Thats all from the Incinerator Execution Squad for now. Bands get in contact for pulp or trades. Keep thrashing!
