By Lady Demon

She stepped out into the cool night air and took a deep breath. The smoke in the bar had made it difficult to breathe, not to mention that there were more people packed in there than the fire code would allow. She began walking down the street when she noticed a man leaning against the building, watching her walk past. She instinctively quickened her pace and hurried toward her car, which was parked on the street.
As she pulled her keys out of her purse she felt a hand on her arm. She was roughly turned around and found herself facing the man who had been leaning up against the building. She tried to scream but the man clamped his hand over her mouth, making it impossible to scream and difficult to breathe. She had never been one who was afraid to fight but she found herself pinned against her own car, unable to fight back.
"Where you going?" asked the man. She could smell the alcohol on his breath. His hand was still over her mouth and she tried to respond, hoping he'd remove his hand. She took a deep breath when he did. She let out a loud scream that was cut short by a punch in the stomach. He shoved her back against the car and she felt him groping her. Tears stung her eyes and she prayed that this wasn't happening and that it was all just a horrible dream. She bit the man's hand and he punched her in the face and continued to grope her.
She felt herself growing more and more desperate to get away when suddenly the man was yanked away from her. She immediately pulled what was left of her shirt tightly closed and gaped, wide-eyed at the man who had come to her rescue. He held her attacker by the hair and glared down at him. She was sure he would kill her attacker but didn't. A moment later the police arrived and her attacker was arrested. While the police cuffed him and put him in the car, her rescuer came over to her.
"Are you okay?" he asked. She recognized him from the bar. He was an intimidating man with long black hair and brown eyes and she felt she almost recognized him from somewhere else, but she didn't know where.
"Yes. Thank you," she said, her voice shaking a bit. He removed his heavy leather jacket and put it on her shoulders. She smiled and pulled it around her.
"My name is Kelsey," she said.
"I'm Gene," he said with a smile.
"Thank you for helping me Gene. I hate to think what would have happened if..." she stopped.
Now that she was safe her body began to shake uncontrollably. Gene put his arm around her and she began to cry. Kelsey cursed herself for breaking down like that, but she couldn't help it. She also couldn't understand how she could trust this man she hardly knew. If she had seen him on the street she would have taken him for a motorcycle gang member. He had a heavy leather jacket, faded jeans and boots. She was sure he probably had a tattoo somewhere. But somehow she felt comfortable enough to cry against his chest. Or maybe it was just that she had been so scared and now she was so relieved. She didn't know. All she knew is that she couldn't control her crying.
Gene didn't say anything. He just held her against his chest and patiently waited for her to get herself under control. After a few minutes, Kelsey pulled away from him and wiped the tears from her face.
"I'm so sorry about that. I don't know what came over me," she said feeling more than a little foolish.
"Don't worry about it. You okay now?" he asked with a smile. Kelsey nodded.
One of the police officers came up to Kelsey and Gene. He had a note pad in his hand. "Miss, we're going to need you to come down to the station to fill out a report," he said.
Before Kelsey had a chance to say anything else to Gene, she was ushered to a police cruiser and helped in. The car sped off toward the police station and Kelsey turned to look back at Gene, her knight in shining armor.
When they arrived at the station, Kelsey was led into the office of the Sergeant and was seated. She waited for what seemed like an hour until the Sergeant finally came in.
"Sorry to make you wait. I need to get some information from you," he said.
Kelsey gave him all the information she could on the man who attacked her and then was told she would have to come back to pick him out of a lineup.
"Even though you caught him there?" she asked incredulously.
"We didn't actually see him. Your friend had a hold of him when we got there. However, we did receive a call from someone that a woman was being attacked. But we need you to pick him out so we can prosecute him," said the Sergeant.
"If it wasn't for Gene, who knows what would have happened," she said. She just wanted this night to end and now she would have to come back and pick her attacker out of a lineup.
"I'm sorry. If you want him punished, you're going to have to do the lineup," he said.  Kelsey sighed.
"Okay," she said finally. She signed the report the Sergeant had filled out after reading it over and then agreed to come back the next day for the lineup.
"We'll call a cab for you to take you back to your car," he said. Kelsey smiled and thanked him and then left his office.
The cab ride was quick and she didn't relax even a bit until she was in her car with the doors locked. She started her car and headed for home. The clock in the dashboard said it was 1:00AM. She groaned. It was too late to call Tina and find out why she hadn't shown up. All Kelsey wanted to do was go to sleep.
She slowly trudged up the steps to her apartment and unlocked the door. She tossed her purse on the table and it was then that she realized that she still had Gene's jacket.
"Crap," she said. She didn't know his last name, where he was from, anything! She felt in the pockets and was surprised to find a wallet. She pulled it out and hesitantly opened it. She hated invading someone else's privacy, but she had no other choice if she was to return the jacket. She jotted the address on his license down on a piece of paper and started to put the wallet back in the pocket when she looked at the name on the license. "Chaim Witz," she read. The name was interesting, very foreign, but he didn't appear to have an accent of any kind. She was tempted to look through it but decided against it.
She hung the jacket up and then undressed for bed. She wasn't sure she'd be able to get to sleep because of everything that had happened, but she fell asleep as soon as her head hit the pillow.
*********
The next morning she woke and dragged herself out of bed to do laundry. She hated it, but knew it had to get done. She saw Gene's jacket and smiled to herself. Once she was done with her laundry she would take his jacket to him. From the address on his license, he lived in a fairly nice part of town.
She finished folding her laundry and then grabbed Gene's jacket and hopped in her car. She drove around for a bit until she found the right house, parked her car and went to the front door. There was a 1961 Corvette parked in the driveway and Kelsey admired it as she walked up the front steps. It was black with chrome wheels and wide tires in the back. From what she could see, it had gray leather seats.
She turned her attention away from the car and back to the door in front of her. She knocked and waited. She could hear music inside, so she knew someone was home, but no one was answering the door so she knocked again, harder this time. The door suddenly opened and a man, also with long black hair and brown eyes, stood there staring down at her, obviously wondering why she was there. Kelsey looked back at the address written on the piece of paper and then back to the address over the door.
"Can I help you?" he asked. His tone wasn't very friendly and Kelsey was beginning to think that maybe Gene was part of a motorcycle gang.
"Is Gene here?" she asked. "I wanted to return his jacket," she added, hoping he wouldn't just take the jacket and shut the door in her face. She wanted to thank him again.
"Yeah, come on in," he said with a smile, his manner changing. "I'll go get him," he said and disappeared through a door. The music from the other room stopped for a moment and she heard footsteps.
Gene came through the door and immediately smiled. "Thanks Paul," he said to the man who had answered the door. "I was wondering if I'd ever see that again," he said with a smile.
"Well, I couldn't just keep it. I had to go into your wallet to get your address. I hope you don't mind," she said sheepishly.
"No. I appreciate you taking the time to bring it to me," he said taking the jacket from her.
"I appreciate you helping me last night. Returning your jacket was the LEAST I could do for you," she said.
"If the cops hadn't shown up when they did, I couldn't guarantee that he would have lived," said Gene, his eyes darkening. Kelsey looked at him for a moment. "I can't stand seeing someone mess with a woman," he said.
Kelsey smiled. "Too bad there aren't more men like you in the world," she replied. Gene laughed and Kelsey looked bewildered.
"Don't let Paul hear you say that," he said grinning.
"Why not?" she asked. Gene shook his head.
"It's a long story," he said.
Paul opened the door and Gene turned to look at him. "We're waiting on you," he said.
Gene turned back to Kelsey and smiled. "I have to go. Thank you so much for bringing my jacket back," he said.
"No problem at all," she answered. She followed him to the door and he opened it for her.
"Hey, would you be interested in going to dinner tomorrow night?" he asked as she started to walk away.
"Sure," she said with a smile.
"I'll pick you up at 6:00," he said.
"Okay. Should I dress formal or informal?" she asked.
"Informal," he said. She nodded and waved and started to walk away.
"I need to get your address," he said.
Kelsey felt her face flush as she walked back towards the open door. "Oops. I guess that would help, wouldn't it," she said sheepishly. She pulled a piece of paper out of her purse and wrote her address and phone number down for him. She handed the paper to Gene and he read it and then smiled.
"I'll see you tomorrow at 6:00," he said. She smiled and walked down the sidewalk to her car. She hoped that the Corvette was Gene's car and not Paul's. She had always been a muscle car enthusiast, but had never had an opportunity to ride in anything as nice as a '61 Corvette.
As she drove she thought about Gene and what it was about him that made her feel so comfortable around him. If it had been anyone else, she might not have even returned the jacket, or she would have mailed it. But Gene was different. At first sight, he looked like he might be a murderer or something. Maybe murderer was too harsh. He certainly didn't look like he would be as nice as he was.
When she walked in the door of her apartment, the phone was ringing. She ran and quickly picked it up and was surprised to hear Tina on the other end.
"Hey, what's going on?" asked Tina.
"I just walked in the door. What happened to you last night?" asked Kelsey, still upset that her friend had stood her up.
"Oh, well, John called and wanted to make up, so I ended up going to his place," she said. Tina had originally invited Kelsey to go to the bar with her because she and John had had a fight.
Kelsey rolled her eyes. "He always wants to make up," said Kelsey.
"Tell me you didn't go to the bar," said Tina.
"Yes, I sat there for 2 hours waiting for you," said Kelsey.
"I'm so sorry," cried Tina. "And to top it all off, as I was leaving, I got attacked by some drunk," she said.
Tina gasped. "Are you alright?" she asked.
"Yeah. This guy named Gene saved me. He's really nice. We're going out to dinner tomorrow night," Kelsey said.
"You're going out with some guy you don't even know?" asked Tina.
"Oh, don't tell me you've never done anything like that," rebuked Kelsey.
"So, what's he like?" she asked. "What does he look like? What does he do for a living?"
"Well, he's tall with long black hair and brown eyes. Kinda looks like he could be a member of the Hell's Angels," said Kelsey. "Wait, you're going to go out with a guy with long hair??" asked Tina incredulously.
"What's wrong with that?" asked Kelsey indignantly.
"Nothing. I just thought you didn't date guys with long hair, only clean-cut, well-dressed gentlemen," she said.
"He is a gentleman," said Kelsey. Tina sighed and Kelsey rolled her eyes.
"You don't want me to start talking about your past boyfriends, do you?" threatened Kelsey.
"No. I don't," she said.
"So what made you decide to make up with John?" asked Kelsey.
"I don't know. Hey, speaking of make-up, did you hear KISS is coming to town next week? They're touring to promote their new album Dynasty," said Tina.
Kelsey had heard of the group and even liked some of their music, but she had never wanted to spend the money to go see them in concert. "No I hadn't heard. You going?" she asked.
"It's sold out, but I'm going to try to win tickets from the radio," said Tina.
"Good luck," said Kelsey.
"If I win will you go with me?" she asked.
"Of course. I like their music," she said. She and Tina talked for a while longer and then Kelsey hung up to start getting dinner ready. She ate alone most of the time except when Tina came over.
****************
The next day dragged by like a slow-moving train and Kelsey wondered if 6:00 would ever get here. When it finally did, there was a knock on her apartment door. She calmed herself and slowly walked to the door to open it. She didn't want Gene to think she was standing there waiting for him.
"You ready to go?" he asked with a smile.
"Yeah, let me grab my purse," she said.
He stood in the doorway as she dashed back in and grabbed her purse. She locked the door behind them and they went down the three flights of stairs to the front door. Kelsey looked for the '61 Corvette, but didn't see it and she was a bit disappointed. That's when she noticed that he was walking toward a motorcycle. She smirked to herself and wondered if she had been right about him the first time. It was a Harley Davidson Softail. The gas tank was black with a silver dragon painted on it. Kelsey admired it for a moment as Gene climbed on.
"Have you ever ridden on a motorcycle before?" he asked as he put the key in the ignition.
"No, I haven't," she said. He pulled out the kick-starter and with one strong 'kick', started it right up.
"Just hold on and lean with the bike. It's really simple," he said.
Kelsey climbed on and situated herself behind Gene. He handed her a black helmet and she took it and looked at it for a moment. "I make all my passengers wear one," he said. Kelsey could tell the helmet was not optional so she put it on. They pulled away from the curb and Kelsey instinctively put her arms around Gene's waist. The noise from the engine made it difficult to talk so they rode in relative silence.
When they reached the restaurant, he pulled into a parking space next to another Harley and put the kick-stand down. Gene climbed off the bike and then helped her off. She took the helmet off and he locked it on the bike.
They went inside and Gene appeared to be looking for someone. Kelsey recognized Paul at the same time Gene saw him and they headed over toward the table Paul and a beautiful woman were sitting at. Kelsey felt self-conscious because she had never considered herself beautiful and she felt ugly compared to Paul's date.
"You remember Paul, right?" he asked as they reached the table.
"Yeah, but we were never formally introduced," she said.
"Paul, this is Kelsey. Kelsey, this is Paul and this is Shannon," said Gene. Kelsey shook Paul and Shannon's hands and then sat down. Shannon said something to Paul and he shook his head. Kelsey wondered if they were talking about her and then cursed herself for being so paranoid. The waiter came and took their orders and they sat there talking and getting to know one another. "What do you do for a living?" asked Paul.
Kelsey cringed internally. Her job was anything but exciting and she always hated telling people what she did. She had always hoped she would have something more exciting to tell people. "I'm an administrative assistant for a telecommunications company," she said. "It's not the most exciting job but it pays the bills," she added. "What about you Paul? What do you do?" she asked.
He smiled and looked at Gene. "Gene and I are sort of in the music business," he said.
"Sort of?" asked Kelsey.
"We're studio musicians," said Paul. "I play guitar and sing and Gene plays bass guitar," he said.
"Have you met anyone famous?" she asked, knowing it was probably a stupid question.
"A few," said Gene with a smile.
"Really? Who?" she asked. She knew she was probably being foolish, but she had always liked hearing stories from other people about encounters with famous people. Paul rattled off a bunch of names like Led Zepplin, the Rolling Stones, and similar bands who were huge successes. Kelsey was thrilled to hear some of the stories they had to tell of encounters with other musicians.
After a while, Kelsey stopped feeling so self-conscious. Paul, Gene and Shannon were all very easy-going people and she found she fit right in with them. The food came and the conversation died down a bit while everyone made short work of their dinner. Kelsey talked a little bit more about her job and also talked about her horse. She told them that her true passion would be to train horses full-time.
"Why don't you do it?" asked Gene.
"I don't own my own stable, plus I don't have the money to start the business. Some day I'll do it," she said. Kelsey had convinced herself that, even though it was something she really wanted to do, she would probably never be able to.
"Just because you don't have the money right now doesn't mean you won't be able to do it. If you really want to do it, you will find a way," said Gene.
Kelsey smiled and nodded but inside she was sad. She knew what Gene was saying was true, but she doubted whether she had the determination to actually see it through.
They sat in the restaurant talking about everything from politics to philosophy until they realized that the busboys were cleaning up and the restaurant was closing. Gene paid the bill and they left. Paul's motorcycle was the one they had parked next to and she took a moment to admire it.
"You want to go for a ride?" asked Gene. Kelsey nodded and put the helmet on and climbed on behind him.
"I have to take Shannon home so I won't be going," said Paul with a smile.
Gene nodded as he started the motorcycle. Kelsey held on as they pulled away, waving to Paul and Shannon as they left.
They cruised along the freeway, the cool night air feeling cold as they sped along. They exited the freeway near the beach and pulled up at a stoplight. The car next to them had the stereo turned up loud and Kelsey recognized the song "I Was Made For Loving You".
Gene jammed a bit to the music and Kelsey smiled. "They are coming to town next week to kick off their new tour," she said in his ear.
"Yeah, I heard. You going?" he asked.
Kelsey shook her head. "It's sold out. My friend is trying to win tickets from the radio station, but I don't know how much luck she's going to have," she said.
"I hope she does win. They're a great group and from what I've heard, their stage show is pretty impressive," said Gene as the light changed to green.
They rode along the beach for a while and then stopped. Kelsey kicked her shoes off and walked down into the cool water getting chased by the waves while Gene stood on the sand watching. A patrol car pulled into the parking lot and the two officers got out of their car and walked down onto the beach. Kelsey turned to see the two officers walk up to Gene and she could tell he wasn't happy they were there. From what she could see in the darkness, they had asked for identification from him and they seemed to be asking him a lot of questions, gesturing toward her.
Kelsey walked up to the three men and stopped. "Is there a problem officers?" she asked.
One of the officers shined his flashlight in her face, momentarily blinding her. "Can I see some identification?" asked the officer. Kelsey handed him her driver's license. "This beach is closed after dark," he said eyeing Gene again.
"I'm sorry. We didn't realize that. We'll be going now," she said.
The officer handed her license back to her and she took Gene's hand and led him toward the motorcycle. They climbed on the bike and hurried away before the two cops decided to follow.
"What were they asking you?" she asked in his ear.
"They wanted to know what I was doing here and then they wanted to know if you were over 18," he said. Kelsey couldn't miss the disgust in Gene's voice.
"They must be bored. I've been to this beach at night before with my friends and never had a problem," she said.
"Your friends don't look like me though," he said. Kelsey felt her anger growing.
"I wish people wouldn't judge others by their looks," she said.
"I should be used to it by now," he said. The rode on in silence and Kelsey wondered how often Gene ran into that type of prejudice. It was probably because he had long hair and rode a motorcycle. She couldn't tell for sure how old he was, but she figured he was in his late twenties, maybe thirty. He seemed like such a nice guy but she could tell by the look in his eyes when he was talking to the cops that he was not the kind of guy you wanted mad at you.
When he finally dropped Kelsey off at her apartment, she was freezing. Not only did she not have a jacket but she had also left her shoes at the beach. He looked down at her bare feet.
"Where are your shoes?" he asked. "Um, still at the beach. I didn't put them on after I saw the cops bothering you," she said sheepishly.
"I'm sorry. If I had known that I would have gone back for them," he said.
"No big deal. I never really liked those shoes anyway," she said with a laugh.
They stood at the door to her apartment, awkwardly trying to decide what to do next. Kelsey decided that if he wanted to kiss her, she would let him. She looked up at him and she could tell he wasn't sure what to do so she stood on her toes and kissed him. He seemed surprised for a moment but then returned the kiss. After a few moments, she pulled away and smiled. "Good night Gene," she said unlocking her apartment door.
"Good night Kelsey," he replied. She shut the door and set her purse down on the table before turning on the light. It had been a wonderful evening and she hoped he would call her again.

The next day at work a delivery boy came into the office with a dozen roses. He handed them to her and she was shocked. Several of her co-workers came into her office to find out who had sent them. She opened the card and read it, a smile creeping across her lips.
"Who are they from?" asked one of the girls.
"Gene, the guy I told you about. He said he had a wonderful time last night and wants to take me out again this Thursday," she said. She opened the envelope and pulled out something else and her eyes got wide.
"What are those?" asked Linda.
"Nothing. It's personal," she said and tucked it back into the envelope. Once everyone was out of her office she picked up the phone and dialed Tina.
"How would you like to go to the KISS concert," said Kelsey.
"I tried to get tickets but I didn't win and it was the last chance," said Tina, audibly pouting.
"What would you say if I told you I had tickets?" asked Kelsey.
"I'd say you were a lying sack of dog poop," said Tina.
"And what would you say if I told you I had front row center tickets to the KISS concert?" asked Kelsey, enjoying torturing her friend.
"I'd kick your butt for teasing me," came Tina's reply.
"What if I wasn't teasing?" said Kelsey. There was silence on the phone for a long time before Tina answered.
"You have front row center tickets?" she asked quietly.
"Yes, right here in my hot little hand," said Kelsey.
"We're going??" asked Tina, a note of disbelief in her voice.
"Yes, we're going," said Kelsey. She had to pull the phone away from her ear or she would lose her hearing from Tina's screaming.
"There's a note in here saying that we need to go to the main ticket counter with our tickets, but I'm not sure what that's about. I guess we'll find out on Friday!" she said.
"I can't believe it! We're going to the KISS concert!" said Tina.
"Hey, I gotta get back to work but I'll talk to you later so we can make arrangements," said Kelsey.
"Tell Gene I said thanks," she said.
Kelsey hung up and got back to work.
**********************
That evening as she sat in front of the television eating a bowl of cereal, the phone rang. She rolled her eyes and got up and turned the volume down on the TV and then picked up the phone.
"Hello," she said trying not to chew too loudly.
"Kelsey? This is Gene," he said. Kelsey felt herself smile.
"How's it going?" she asked setting down her cereal bowl.
"Not bad. I was wondering if, on Thursday, you'd like to go see the new movie that just came out," he said.
"You mean 'Star Wars'?" she asked. She had wanted to see it but Tina didn't like science fiction movies and she didn't really have anyone else who would see it with her.
"I'd love to," she said, trying not to sound TOO enthusiastic.
"Great. There's a 7:30 showing. I'll pick you up at 6:00 and we can get something to eat before we go," he said.
"Sounds great. I look forward to seeing you," she said and then cursed herself, again not wanting him to think she was TOO enthusiastic.
"Me too," he said. Kelsey could hear the smile in his voice and felt herself smile in response. She couldn't believe how fond she was becoming of him and how quickly. She had only met him a few days ago but she already knew she liked him...a lot!
"I'll see you on Thursday," he said after a short silence.
"Okay. I'll see you at 6:00," she said. They said good-bye and then hung up the phone.
Kelsey got up and turned the volume back up on the TV and tried to concentrate on the program but couldn't.
She found her thoughts wandering back to Gene. She was certainly attracted to him and it seems as though he was attracted to her. He was nothing like she thought he would be. When she first saw him in the bar the night they met, she was sure he was a tough guy. She figured he was rude and perverted, but he was nothing at all like that. He was the perfect gentleman. Kelsey began to laugh. What would her parents think if she brought Gene home to meet them? They would DIE!
She smiled when she thought about the kiss they had shared the night before. He seemed so shy and hesitant, but she had a feeling there was another side to him. A darker, more aggressive side and she wondered if she would ever see it. Maybe some day.
*************
Thursday came and Kelsey found herself pacing her office. Every time the phone rang, she hoped it was Gene. But then she reasoned with herself that if he called her, he was probably canceling their date and she certainly didn't want that to happen. She wondered what she should wear for their date. He seemed like a jeans and T-shirt kind of guy so she figured she'd wear a nice tight T-shirt and jeans.
Kelsey was sure the clock had stopped and checked her watch again for the 10th time in the last five minutes. Would anyone notice if she slipped out the door 10 minutes early? Probably not. She packed up her stuff and turned off the light in her office and quietly made her way toward the elevators.
"Have fun tonight," said Cindy. Kelsey cringed, knowing she had been caught. Cindy wouldn't tell the boss that she left early, but she would expect all the juicy details the next day.
Kelsey hurried home and jumped in the shower and then put on her favorite T-shirt and her tight jeans. At 6:00 on the dot, there was a knock on her apartment door. She opened it to find Gene standing there. He smiled.
"Come on in. I have to put my shoes on," she said opening the door and beckoning him in. He came in and as she quickly put her shoes on he went over to the mantle over the fireplace.
"Nice dragon," he said admiring the statue there.
"Thanks. It was a gift from my sister. I collect dragons," she said as she finished tying her shoe.
"I love dragons too," he said.
"I noticed the one on your motorcycle. Very nice," she said.
They went and got a quick dinner and then hurried to the theater so they could get good seats. Kelsey found it hard to concentrate on the movie because Gene had his hand on her thigh and occasionally he would move it higher. Kelsey felt her pulse quicken and began to wonder how long the movie would be. They enjoyed the movie immensely, as did almost everyone in the theater.
It was late and Kelsey had to go to work the next day so Gene took her home. "Would you like to come in for a few minutes?" she asked.
He smiled and nodded and followed her in. She sat down on the couch and Gene sat next to her. Again she felt her pulse quicken. He took her hand and placed a kiss on the backs of her fingers and Kelsey felt her heart flutter. How could one man have so much control over her?
Kelsey felt Gene's lips move from the backs of her fingers to her palm. He placed several hot kisses there and Kelsey felt her breath quicken. She looked at Gene and found that he was watching her. It was obvious he knew the effect he was having on her and he was enjoying it.
"What was your favorite part of the movie?" he asked as he continued to kiss her palm. Kelsey tried to form a rational thought, but wasn't having much luck.
"Um, I liked all of it," she said.
"Certainly you had a favorite part," he said continuing his teasing.
"I liked the..." she said but couldn't finish. The only thing that came out was a moan as Gene began sucking on her finger. His hot mouth caressed her finger and she felt him wrap his tongue around it. Kelsey gasped, unable to believe the response he was getting from her just by sucking on her finger.
"Mmmmm," he mumbled, urging her to continue.
She looked at him, her eyes dark with desire. "I like what you're doing with your tongue," she said, her voice a hoarse whisper. "Do you," he said. It wasn't a question, but a statement. He slowly slid her finger out of his mouth and pulled Kelsey over so that she was straddling him, facing him.
He looked up at her and smiled. "What else do you like?" he asked running his hands down her back to her butt. He gripped it and pulled her against him. She could feel his warm breath on her neck and knew that even if she had wanted to resist Gene, she couldn't now.
"Feeling your hands on my body," she said breathlessly. He nibbled on her neck and she tilted her head back so he could do the same to her throat. His hands moved from her butt, up her sides to her breasts. She moaned again as he began to tease her nipples with his fingers.
"You like that?" he asked, his voice hardly more than a whisper.
"Yessss," she said. She was surprised when he stopped and she looked down at him. He slowly pulled her shirt from her jeans and she raised her arms so he could pull it off. The thought of feeling his hands against her bare skin made her pulse race even quicker. He teased her nipples through her bra for a few minutes and Kelsey was sure she would either die or have an orgasm before he ever took it off. She leaned her head back again and a moment later, her bra was gone and his hands caressed her bare breasts. Kelsey felt her body grow even warmer and looked down at Gene. He was watching her again. He seemed to enjoy watching the different expressions of ecstasy cross her face.
Gene leaned down and slowly began to trace feather-light circles around her nipple with his tongue. Kelsey gasped and pressed herself against him. It was now quite obvious that she was not the only one turned on by what Gene was doing. His jeans pressed tightly against his erection and Kelsey wanted to pull them off. She started to move so she could unfasten his belt when she felt his teeth on her nipple.
She gasped, not entirely in pain and looked down at Gene. He smiled and shook his head, telling her that she was NOT the one in control right now. He moved to her other nipple and began nibbling and teasing it with his tongue. Kelsey wanted him to take her right now, right there but she could tell he was going to tease her for a while. It was sheer torture and she was enjoying every second of it.
"Where's your bedroom?" he asked.
She carefully climbed to her feet and waited as Gene stood up. Kelsey took his hand and began slowly leading him toward her bedroom. When they reached her bedroom she let go of his hand and went to her bedside table. She grabbed a box of matches and began lighting the dozens of candles around the room. Their light cast a golden glow on her skin and Gene took her hand and pulled her to him. He kissed her and gently caressed her breasts again. Kelsey could feel her patience wearing thin. She wanted him NOW! She slowly reached down and stroked his erection through his jeans. He growled and pulled her even tighter against him, his lips and tongue caressing her neck and shoulder.
"You like that?" she asked. He bit down on her shoulder and she moaned.
"Yesss," he hissed. She continued to stroke his erection and then finally unbuckled his belt and unzipped his jeans. She slowly pulled his pants down to expose his cock and she got to her knees in front of him. She was about to slide it into her mouth when he leaned down and pulled her to her feet. She was confused for a moment.
"I wanna be inside you," he said pulling his shirt off and then removing his jeans the rest of the way. Kelsey took her jeans off and then they both stood there naked. He kissed her and backed her toward the bed until she fell backwards on it. He climbed on top of her and leaned down to kiss her as he slowly slid himself part of the way inside her. They both gasped as their bodies joined. Kelsey could feel his cock throbbing inside her and she felt her muscles contract around him. Gene laughed a deep, seductive laugh.
"You want all of it?" he asked as he nibbled on her earlobe.
"Yes," she said, her voice a whisper.
"How badly?" he asked.
Kelsey could feel her body shaking all over with anticipation. "Please, I want all of it," she said almost pleading.
"How badly do you want it?" he asked, a wicked smile on his face.
"Please," she said again.
"How badly do you want it?" he asked again. Kelsey couldn't stand it anymore and rolled them over so she was on top. She slid his cock all the way inside and let out a cry of ecstasy.
"Oh yesss," hissed Gene. "You want it bad," he said.
Kelsey looked down at him. His eyes were closed and Kelsey contracted her muscles against him and he gasped. His eyes opened and he looked up at her and smiled. Gene rolled them over again and began slowly thrusting into her. Her moans quickly turned to cries of ecstasy and passion and she could feel her orgasm building. He began to thrust harder and faster and Kelsey began to scream with delight. Suddenly her senses exploded in a wave of wetness and warmth as an orgasm washed over her.
A few moments later, Gene growled and she felt his body tense up as his orgasm came. He held her tight as his cock throbbed inside her. Slowly he relaxed and rolled over on his side next to her. After a few moments they both fell into a sound sleep in each other's arms.

Kelsey awoke the next morning with the sun shining in her face. She was comfortable and snuggled back down under the blankets when she realized there was someone in bed with her. She turned to see Gene next to her and smiled, remembering last night's ecstasy. She looked at the clock and realized she was late for work.
"Shit!" she said pulling the blankets off.
Gene stirred next to her and reached out for her. "What's wrong?" he mumbled sleepily.
"I'm late for work," she said trying to get up.
"Oh. So call in sick," he said caressing her arm.
"I can't. Cindy knows I'm going to the KISS concert tonight and she won't believe me," she said. "Then let me call," he said. He reached over and picked up the phone.
"What's the number and your boss' name," he asked.
"His name is Mr. Almanza," she said. Kelsey reluctantly gave him the phone number and waited.
After a moment Gene cleared his throat. "Hello, may I speak to Mr. Almanza please," he said with a thick Middle Eastern accent. There was a pause and Kelsey heard someone on the other end. "Hello, this is Dr. Chaim Witz," he said.
Kelsey laughed and then covered her mouth. "I am calling to inform you that Kelsey won't be in to work today. She injured herself and I am prescribing bed rest for her today," he said giving Kelsey a wicked smile. "I will make sure that she has a note from me describing the injury for you on Monday," he said giving her the thumbs up sign. "Thank you," he said and hung up the phone.
"How are you going to get me a doctor's note?" she asked.
"I have a friend who's a doctor. He owes me a favor," said Gene.
"Do you know how long it's been since I've had a day off?" she said.
"How long?" asked Gene.
"Almost two years. I don't even call in sick because I usually have too much work to do," she said.
"You deserve a day off," he said kissing her. "You hungry?" he asked climbing out of bed. Kelsey watched him grab his pants and put them on.
"Starving!" she said. "You cooking?" she asked.
"Sure. What are you hungry for?" he asked, a smile crossing his lips.
"Whatever you got," she said. He pulled her to him and kissed her. After a few moments he released her and they made their way to the kitchen. Gene began going through her refrigerator and pulled out some things to fix.
Kelsey watched him as he mixed things together that she never would have put together, especially for breakfast. "I never got a chance to thank you for the KISS tickets," she said as he continued to prepare breakfast.
"Sure you did, last night," he said turning and giving her another wicked smile.
"How did you get front row center?" she asked.
"I told you, I'm a studio musician so I have connections," he said.
"Are you going to the show?" she asked. He smiled. "I'll be there, but I'm gonna be sitting farther back," he said.
"How come?" she asked.
"Because I gave you and your friend the good tickets," he said.
Kelsey put her arms around him and rested her head against his back. "Thank you," she said. "I...you're so sweet," she said. She couldn't believe that she almost told Gene that she loved him. She knew she liked him a lot, but she wasn't sure how he felt about her and she didn't want to ruin a good thing by getting emotions involved.
Gene laughed. "Paul wouldn't believe me if I told him you said that," he said.
"Why not?" she asked.
"Because he wouldn't," he said.
"You guys didn't have a fight, did you?" she asked.
"No, but I have kind of a "bad boy" reputation," he said.
"What if I told him you were a teddy bear?" she asked wrapping her arms around him.
"He definitely wouldn't believe you," he said. Gene turned the stove off and pulled the pan off. Kelsey looked at it, unsure if she should eat it or not. It was an omelet, sort of. It had all kinds of spices in it and Kelsey could tell it was going to be hot. He dished it out and handed one of the plates to Kelsey and took the other. They sat down at her little dining room table and he began to eat.
"So how did you get the name Gene?" she asked. "I saw the name on your driver's license. Chaim Witz," she said.
"Well, Chaim Witz is an Israeli name and doesn't necessarily make you popular with many Americans so most people know me as Gene. Besides, Chaim is so hard for some people to pronounce," he said. "Are you going to eat or just look at it," he said pointing to her untouched plate.
"I'm going to eat it," she said. She carefully put a forkful in her mouth and found it to be quite good but EXTREMELY spicy. She quickly went to the sink and got a glass of water and downed it before refilling the glass and coming back to the table. "Spicy enough for you?" he asked with a smile.
She glared at him. "That doesn't burn your mouth?" she asked as she watched him quickly devour the food on his plate.
"I've tasted hotter," he said with a twinkle in his eye.
Kelsey and Gene spent most of the morning lounging on the couch together watching television. It had been a long time since Kelsey had had a chance to relax for a day and it had been even longer since she had spent the day (or night) with a man. She felt happier and more relaxed than she had in years.
Finally Gene told her he had to go because he had to meet up with Paul before the concert. She kissed him and held him in her arms.
"Enjoy the concert," he said.
"You too," said Kelsey. He kissed her on the forehead and then left.
Now she had to decide what to wear to the concert. Just then the phone rang. "Hello?" she said.
"Kelsey? Are you okay?" asked Tina, a note of panic in her voice.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Why do you ask?" she asked before remembering the call that Gene had made to her office.
"Cindy said you were injured yesterday and now on bed rest," she said.
"What happened?" she asked.
"Nothing. Gene decided I needed a day off and decided to call me in sick," she said. Tina sighed with relief.
"Don't worry. We're still going to the KISS concert," said Kelsey.
"I was worried something bad had happened, but it sounds to me like something good happened," said Tina. "Trouble getting out of bed this morning?" she asked.
"Maybe," she said.
"Girl, you gotta fill me in! Was it Gene?" she asked.
"Am I currently seeing any other men?" asked Kelsey.
"Well, I don't know. You might have one or two hidden under your bed," she said.
"No, I think that's YOUR trick," she said laughing. "I'll fill you in on the drive to the concert," she said.
Tina pouted but Kelsey wasn't going to talk about it on the phone. "Are you driving or do you want me to?" asked Tina.
"You can drive. Your car is nicer," she said.
"I'll pick you up at 5:30. Be ready!" she said.
"I will. See you then," she said.
Kelsey hung up the phone and checked her watch. It was 1:30. She hopped in the shower and got herself cleaned up and then decided to try and do something with her hair. Her short, red hair had a life of its own unless she put a lot of hairspray and gel in it but she decided she was going to try something with it. She dried it and then began spraying, combing, spraying and styling until she had a suitable hairstyle. She just hoped the heat from the concert wouldn't flatten it.
******************
At 5:30 Tina showed up and they hopped in the car. Tina put a tape in her cassette player and Kelsey heard the familiar sounds of KISS coming from the speakers. She smiled and looked at the tape case. The band members wore heavy make-up, making it impossible to see what they really looked like.
"So tell me! Did Gene spend the night?" asked Tina.
"Yes, but it wasn't something we had planned on," replied Kelsey.
"Oh, spur of the moment, heat of passion?" she asked.
"Yeah, something like that," said Kelsey.
"So how is he?" she asked. Kelsey looked at her friend, momentarily confused.
"How is he?" she asked.
"You know! How is he in bed?" she asked. Kelsey's face flushed and she was hesitant to tell her friend about her night with Gene. She had never talked about any of her other sexual encounters mainly because they were few and far between. She knew Tina wouldn't let her out of the car without at least a LITTLE information.
"Great," she said trying to keep the smile from her face. Just thinking about Gene's hands on her made her heart race.
"I see that smile. Looks to me like it was more than just 'great'! I want details," she said.
"I'm not going to tell you everything. I'll just say that he made me feel things no other man has ever been able to before," she said. Tina sighed.
"I need a man like that," she said.
"What about John?" asked Kelsey.
"What about him? He's average," she said.
"Then why do you stay with him?" asked Kelsey.
"Um, because he's familiar I guess," said Tina.
When they arrived at the ticket counter with their tickets, Kelsey was handed two passes. She looked at them for a moment before handing one to Tina.
"These are backstage passes!" said Tina in an excited whisper. She didn't want anyone to hear her and try to steal it. "We're gonna get to meet the band!" she said.
Kelsey smiled and hung her pass around her neck. "Thank Gene," she said. They made their way to their seats and they contented themselves with looking around at all the people. Many were dressed and painted like the band members and Kelsey laughed.
"I guess KISS fans are really dedicated," she said. "Yeah! The serious fans call themselves soldiers in the KISS Army," she said. A man dressed and painted like Paul walked past them and Tina sighed.
"Too bad that's not the real Paul Stanley. The things I'd like to do to that man," she said following the man with her eyes.
Kelsey was about to make a comment to Tina but decided not to. Gene's friend's name was Paul and they were musicians. She wondered briefly if it could be possible that Gene was the Gene Simmons from the band but then dismissed it. Why would a famous musician give her the time of day? It couldn't be possible. But then again, he did get her front row center tickets and backstage passes.
The opening act came on stage and Kelsey forgot all about the thoughts running through her head. The band was good, but it wasn't who she was here to see. When they finished, the stage was cleared and a huge black curtain with KISS written in silver was dropped, covering the stage. The crowd was getting more and more excited and Kelsey couldn't help but get caught up in the excitement. Tina had told Kelsey a little bit about the KISS concert experience, but no description could have prepared her for what she saw. The costumes, make-up and pyrotechnics blew her away as did the blood-spitting, fire-breathing Gene Simmons.
She sang along with the songs she knew and found her eyes were glued to Gene most of the time, even when Paul was singing. At one point he was right in front of her and their eyes met. Kelsey saw something familiar in those eyes and was becoming more and more sure that her Gene was Gene Simmons. He flicked his tongue at her and she smiled. So this was the other side of his personality. This was The Demon, his dark side. She decided she would definitely like to get to know this side a little more. Not that she didn't like his quieter side, but the 'bad boy' side really intrigued her.
When the final encore was over, Kelsey and Tina showed their backstage passes to the guards and were taken back to the dressing room area. Tina was so excited she could hardly control herself. Kelsey decided she would not let on to Gene that she knew who he was. She figured that since he was a famous musician, the anonymity was a necessity.
Once backstage, they were seated in a waiting area while the band members came off the stage. Kelsey grabbed Tina's arm to keep her from running after Paul. She waved to him and he waved back causing Tina to squeal with delight. After a few moments the band came over to them and Kelsey and Tina stood up. In the platform boots they towered over them. Tina looked in awe at them, now unable to speak. Kelsey held out her hand first to Paul, then to Ace, Peter and then finally to Gene. "I'm Kelsey O'Connell," she said. She was nervous, but not about meeting them. She didn't want to let on that she knew who they were.
Gene kissed her hand. "I'm pleased to meet you," he said in a low voice. She could tell he was trying to disguise his voice a bit, but there was no mistaking it now.
She smiled. "The pleasure is all mine," she said.
"Oh, I wouldn't say that," he replied. Tina listened, wide-eyed and envious.
"This is my friend Tina. She's a huge fan of yours, Paul," said Kelsey. Tina turned to say something to her but Paul took her hand.
"Is that true?" he asked.
Tina turned back and looked up at Paul. "I love you," she said. Paul smiled and put his arm around her, leading her away from the others.
Two women approached Peter and Ace so they walked away with them, leaving Kelsey and Gene alone. "Did you enjoy the show?" he asked.
"It was fantastic. You're amazing on stage," she said.
"That's not the only place I'm amazing," he said.
Kelsey smiled. "Oh really? Where else are you amazing?" she asked.
A wicked smile spread across Gene's face and Kelsey found herself returning it. "Would you like me to show you?" he asked. "Yes," she said.
Gene took her hand and led her out of the main dressing room area into a smaller, private room. He closed the door and locked it behind him. Kelsey turned to him and smiled. "Why did you lock the door? Are you afraid I'm going to run away?" she asked. "Let's just say I want to guarantee our privacy," he said. He walked up to her and smiled wickedly down at her. He leaned down and kissed her, slipping his long tongue into her mouth and Kelsey couldn't help but moan. She sucked on it and he pulled her close.
"Ouch," she said getting stabbed by the armor he wore. "I think you should take some of that off," she said.
"Why don't you take it off for me," he said.
Kelsey smiled and began removing his costume. When she had the hard outer layers off she grabbed him by the belt and pulled him to her. "That's much better," she said kissing him again. She felt his hands move down her back to her butt and she smiled. She leaned her head back so he could kiss her neck and felt his hand on her breast. She moaned again and then suddenly found herself pressed up against the wall. She smiled and laughed at the thought of being caught between a rock and a hard place. "What's funny?" he asked, his voice in her ear sending a shiver of desire through her.
"Nothing," she said.
"It didn't sound like nothing," he said running his long tongue up her neck to her ear.
Just then there was an insistent knocking at the door. Gene growled and tried to ignore it but the person kept knocking. "Let me handle this," said Kelsey. She untrapped herself and walked over to the door and unlocked it. "Can I help you?" she asked a man she didn't recognize.
"The limo is ready to leave and it's waiting on Gene," he said trying to open the door and walk in.
"Well Gene is busy right now, so the limo will have to wait," she said blocking his way.
"But..." he said.
"It will wait," she said firmly.
The guy gave one last effort to get past her and then gave up. Kelsey closed the door and locked it behind her. She suddenly felt Gene's arms around her as he pressed himself up against her back.
"You handled that quite well," he said.
"Thank you," she said enjoying the feeling of his erection against her butt.
"What else do you handle well?" he asked in her ear. Kelsey reached around behind her and began stroking him through his leather pants. He moaned in her ear sending another shiver of desire down her spine.
"This?" she asked gripping him. He groaned and bit down on her shoulder causing her to gasp. He pulled her T-shirt off and then removed her bra and began running his hands over her bare skin. Kelsey sighed and leaned her head back on his shoulder. "You have a beautiful body," he said.
"It's yours to do with as you please," she said. He slid his hands down her stomach to her jeans and unzipped them. He pulled them down and she pulled her shoes off and removed her jeans the rest of the way. She turned to face him and watched as his eyes traveled down her body. He licked his lips and looked back up into her eyes.
"See anything you like?" she asked.
"Oh yeah," he said. He pinned her against the wall again and began kissing the side of her neck. She reached down and unfastened his pants and reached in and began stroking him. He let out a moan and Kelsey allowed herself a smile of satisfaction. Her smug laugh turned to a moan of desire as his finger found her most sensitive area. She spread her legs wider to give him easier access and she felt him smile.
"You like that?" he asked stroking her gently with his finger.
"Yesss," she said. She was torn between wanting to continue with the masquerade or letting Gene know she knew who he was. She liked the idea of something spontaneous but she also didn't want him to think she would sleep with anyone who came along. His mouth on her nipple brought her back to what he was doing. He picked her up and she wrapped her legs around his waist. He freed himself from his pants and Kelsey felt him slide inside. She gasped and began to bite on his neck. When they had made love the night before, although it was passionate, he was gentle. Tonight there was no gentleness. He drove into her, pinning her against the wall with his body. Kelsey couldn't believe how intense it was. He certainly knew what to do to drive her wild with passion.
Kelsey was surprised when he pulled out of her and set her down. He turned her around and leaned her face first over the back of the couch in the room and then re-entered her from behind. He grabbed her hips and thrust deep and hard into her and Kelsey screamed out his name.
"I like hearing you scream my name," he said. Kelsey could feel her orgasm building and she contracted her muscles against him again. He groaned and then pulled out. Kelsey waited, sure he would re-enter her and continue, but he didn't. She turned to look at him.
"What's wrong?" she asked.
"Nothing. I just want to hear you beg," he said. "How badly do you want me to fuck you," he said as he caressed her butt.
"I want you so badly. Please fuck me," she begged.
"I'm not convinced you want me that badly," he said. "Try again," he said.
"Please fuck me Gene. I wanna feel you cum inside me. I want every inch of your love," she said. "Pleeeeease."
She heard Gene laugh softly and then felt the head of his cock enter her. She gasped, waiting for him to slide the rest in, but again he waited. She moved around trying to get more of him inside her but he pinned her down against the couch.
"I'm still not convinced," he said with a truly wicked grin.
"Please Gene. If you don't fuck me I'll die," she said. Her body began to shake with anticipation.
"Well now, I wouldn't want you to die," he said and rammed himself all the way inside. Kelsey screamed in ecstasy and felt her muscles contract against him. Her body was begging for release, a release she knew only Gene could give her. He grabbed her hips and began thrusting into her harder and harder until she felt her orgasm come. She screamed his name again as he continued to thrust himself deep into her.
A few moments later she felt his body tense up and then felt him cum. He gripped her tightly and held her against him so that every inch of his cock was buried in her sweet wetness. After a moment he slowly pulled out of her and seemed surprised when she turned around and got down on her knees in front of him.
"I'm not done yet," she said putting his still hard cock in her mouth. She could taste her own sweetness on him. He threw his head back and held onto her as she teased and sucked his cock. She felt his hand on the back of her head. "Now I'm gonna do what you wouldn't let me do last night," she said as she ran her tongue along his cock. She looked up to see him looking down at her. After a few minutes of sucking him and caressing his balls she felt him cum again. She swallowed it and looked up at him again.
He smiled down at her. "How long have you known?" he asked, his breath coming in ragged gasps.
"I figured it out tonight," she said. "It was your eyes," she said as he helped her to her feet.
He pulled her against him. "You were wonderful," he said kissing her.
"So were you," she said. He wiped the side of her face and smiled.
"You better get cleaned up. You have almost as much of my make-up on as I do," he said.
Kelsey gathered her clothes and went into the bathroom to clean up. After changing into something else Gene went into the bathroom to redo his make-up.
"I can't leave here without my make-up. Someone will figure it out," he said. She understood and smiled.
************
When he had finished they came out of the dressing room to find Tina and Paul talking. By the glowing smile on her face, it was obvious to Kelsey that they had hit it off.
The man who had interrupted them earlier came over to Gene and Paul. "The limo is waiting. We need to go," he said.
"Okay. Kelsey, it was an honor to meet you," said Gene, kissing her hand.
She smiled at him and then gave him a hug. "Come over to my apartment tonight before you take off your make-up," she whispered in his ear.
"You want the Demon to tuck you into bed?" he asked, his breath caressing her ear.
"That's not all I want," she said and then pulled away.
Gene and Paul left in the limo and Tina and Kelsey drove home. Tina was silent most of the drive home. It was a stunned silence.
"He's amazing," she said finally.
Kelsey laughed and smiled at her friend. "Yes he is," she said, thinking about Gene.
When Tina dropped her off home she unlocked the door and walked into her semi-dark apartment. There were candles lit all around the living room and Kelsey glanced over to see Gene lounging on the couch, still wearing his make-up.
"You ready for bed?" he asked wickedly.
The End
