Weight: 145 lb.
Hair: Bluish black (wears partial hairpiece to cover burn)
Eyes: Still Onyx
Skin: Caramel Cinnamon brown
Age: 32, but looks a bit younger in her 30's or late twenties
Distinguishing marks: Scars on her right hand and arm, and the right side of her head and ear. Wears a black lace glove or slave bracelet on her right hand to conceal the scar. A hairpiece woven into her hair conceals the lack of hair on the right side of her head above her ear. Small tattoo of a five pointed egyptian star on her right flank, and a tattoo of an ibis on her shoulder that hides another burn scar there.
Description: Generous bust, long graceful neck and face with classic Egyptian features.
Position (Ancient World): Queen and Great Wife of Tuthmosis III
Position (Modern World): Formerly substitute Chemistry Teacher for San Francisco school district. Presently pyrotechnician for rock group KISS on their Psycho Circus and World Tours.
Relatives: (Ancient): Mother, Hapshetsut; Husband, Tuthmosis
III; Half sister Princess Karahammon
(Modern): None presently living. Due to fact her husband now exists
as a mummy, Mennehotep is considered legally unmarried. However
she is the distant ancestor to Dr. Marianne Ellis and Prof. Cameron Ellis.
(This was proven genetically by Dr. Ellis' genetic testing.)
Current boyfriend: Paul Stanley of KISS (Menne is estranged from
her husband. Try having a relationship with a 3500 year old mummy!!!)
Special
abilities:When threatened, Menne transforms into the armor of the ibis. Like the graceful bird, she can fly with the magical wings that extend from her metal cloak. However she can carry only a bit more than her own weight, due to her inexperience with flying. Her powerful boots are armed with sharp claws, which she uses as a primary weapon. Also, Menne can summon a crook and flail, which can be used like chobos, a double set of fighting sticks. This weapon is only effective at short range. For long range attacks she has the ability to summon powerful strokes of lightening which she can direct with deadly accuracy. Also, she can summon a sphere of protection to ward off mystical blasts and most missiles hurled in her vicinity. She can expand the effect to a radius of 24 feet. Her belt contains a store of potions and cartridges that include a clinging smoke screen, magnesium flash cartridges, and a vial of natrium to heal any injuries the Mummies may suffer. The more she uses magic, the less time her armor remains, for it takes more energy to use spells than to fight.
Weaknesses:
If she should become alive fully, Mennehotep would lose the ability to summon her armor. The armor will come when she is under the influence of the elixir though or in her mummified form. Without the elixir she must rest in a sarcophagus for at least eight hours, so one can see the advantage of her potion.
Also, Mennehotep is flummoxed by modern social systems. She is
not as adapted to the modern world as her friends Nefertina and Sohkarra.
Some customs are very foreign to her, such as modern romance, rock bands,
and the ways of jobs. She is still learning, and her odd pattern
of speech often draws attention to herself.
Profile:To read about Sohkarra, go here:
What they found was a vastly changed Princess, and a whole world that was previously known to them only through the magic box. They tracked KISS to a hotel where the wrap party for a successful performance was commencing. Donning Menne's special cosmetics and KISS groupie costumes, they successfully infiltrated the party. Nefertina was recognized from her modeling days by a roadie Chuck, who managed to introduce Nefertina to Peter Criss, the cat man drummer of the band.
Menne got separated temporarily from her friend, only to find herself being hit on by two of the band's other members, Gene Simmons the Demon, and Paul Stanley, the Starchild. Choosing Paul over Gene, she managed to convince the Casanova Starchild to take her to see Ace and Sohkarra, known to the band as Jaime. However, she got more then she bargained for when she and Nefertina confronted an angered and shocked Sohkarra. Sohkarra refused to return with them, saying she liked her new lifestyle, and that she was still furious at JaKal for his rejection of her. Mennehotep and Nefertina joined her in an infamous "encore" that the band was notorious for.
Paul Stanley concocted a plan to get Mennehotep to stay, offering her a job with the band. He was oddly taken with the mystery woman who claimed to know Sohkarra, and who had captured his odd tastes. Similarly, in Peter, Nefertina found a kindred spirit, and had no desire to return right away to life as a guardian. Menne saw this as a way of sorting out her anger towards Tuthmosis, and towards herself. When the Band returned to their tour, the three women accompanied them. Sohkarra as Ace's "therapist", Menne as a pyrotechnics expert, and Nefertina as a roadie and security guard for Peter. A phone call to Presley and JaKal indicated the change in plans, which left all the Guardians stunned and surprised.
Now the three women are on tour with the band, and just when they choose
to leave is up in the air. The subject of this will be the latest
fan fictions.
The guys of KISS, based on real persons, but used in a fan fiction concept. This is not meant to demean or profit from an interesting phenomenon, and these ideas are pure fan fiction. I don't own their likeness or personalities, nor do I claim to own them or the concepts of the Psycho Circus in which they are also used, and references are made to in my fanfics.
Starchild (Paul): Smitten by Mennehotep when first they met, he still is trying to figure out just who and what she is. His little scheme to get her to stay with the band by offering her a job was an obvious ploy to get her into his clutches. Yet Menne and he have yet to fully explore what strangeness this attraction means. He knows she's estranged, but doesn't know the true nature of her origins or their import. Paul is a hopeless romantic, showering Menne with roses and all sorts of gifts in an effort to win her affections. This causes no end of frustration to Menne, who simply likes him for who he is, a fact that Paul just doesn't seem to get.
Space Ace (Ace): Sees her as a good friend of the new woman in his life, Sohkarra. However he's flustered and confused that Paul doesn't seem to get how easy it is to have a "real" relationship with a woman for a change. Admittedly none of them are used to this thing of having a woman around for more then a one night "encore".
Catman (Peter): Suspects an undercurrent of attraction between Menne and Gene, and feels the others would be blind not to notice it. He's seen Gene and Paul fall for the same woman before, but not have the chance or taken the time to actually find ways of stealing her from the other. Even though his attentions are currently on Nefertina, he's still amused and concerned for his band mates about their current infatuation.
Who
was she in Ancient Egypt?Mennehotep would rather be an Alchemist than a princess. She feels that people should be judged by their talents, not their ranks. An unusual view in Ancient Egypt. Because her mother Hapshetsut was Pharaoh for 20 years, she learned diplomacy, self defense techniques, and other skills that would serve her well as a monarch of Egypt. For years she learned Alchemy from the Scrolls of Rath, rather than be apprenticed to the high Priestess Chontra, like her sister Karahammon. Instead she acquired some sorcery from the court wizard under Hapshetsut, named Tharankenat. This fellow is a descendant of Rath, himself. Another child of Rath, Hemrata, served as Mennehotep's personal bodyguard from birth to young adulthood. It was Hemrata who taught Mennehotep to fight., unbeknownst to her tutor Sehnmut. Menne's step brother, Tuthmosis III is named Prince Regent to become Pharaoh upon Hapshetsut's death. He signs a marriage contract for Karahammon and Menne to cement his authority. However, Chontra's plan was to put Karahammon on the throne as Pharaoh. She incites a possible rebellion to depose the Prince Regent. He will only become full Pharaoh after Hapshetsut's mummification and entombment is complete. However, Mennehotep learns of the plot, and tries to stop Chontra from creating a civil war. Tuthmosis learns of the scheme, and brings both Princesses before him.... and the rest is history...
Chontra tells the girls she foresees a time when Tuthmosis will remove Hapshetsut's name from the list of Kings. All this aside, Mennehotep and Karahammon resented the fact that their mother's name was removed from the list of Kings. They strive to make her name known. Karahammon chooses violent methods to ensure this, while Menne chooses peace. Tuthmosis vows not to remove Hapshetsut's name... at least as long as either Princess is alive. When Mennehotep dies, he destroys every image that ever held Hapshetsut as Pharaoh. History could not have a female Pharaoh.
Only in modern times has Hapshetsut been researched. Pieces of her smashed statues were unearthed by archaeologists in the 20th century. Her legacy had not been forgotten after all.
