So You Want to Get Up Close and Personal?
I was born in late November 2000.
I was adopted from The Brazos County Animal Shelter on Feb 1, 2001.
My biological mother was a full-blooded Pembroke Welsh Corgi. She didn't like the mate her human's picked for her so she snuck out one night and met a handsome Rover! They fell instantly in love and I am their love child.
Nobody really knows too much about my biological father. It is suspected that he might be a Border Collie/Sheltie Mix, just going by my physical traits.
I am very happy with my new human Mommy & Daddy! They spoil me rotten, and I like that alot!
My favorite toy is my Teddy! I take him everywhere with me. Even outside to help me chase squirrels! He gets good and dirty!
Mommy says my Teddy is a very durable toy because she can give him a bath in the washing machine and he doesn't fall apart!
When my toys fall start to fall apart, Mommy throws them away so I don't choke on a piece of it.
I have a teen-age girl who is very sweet to me. I love her so much and I'm going to miss her when she's gone to school. She's starting High School this year! Yay, for us Big Girls!
My favorite game to play is "Fetch-Tug-O-War"! If you throw a toy, I will bring it back, but I want you to pull on it for a bit before I let you throw it again!
Sometimes, I will bring you a toy and ask you to play with me. If don't . . . I will paw and pinch you with my teeth.
Mommy says I really don't bite, I just pinch with my teeth. I don't break the skin but I leave bruises. Mommy gets angry with me when I do this, but then she feels bad and plays with me anyway.
Another favorite thing of mine to do is pull mommy's pony-tail holder out of her hair! Sometimes, I get a little hair with it, too.
I know Mommy is fixin to leave when she puts her pony-tail holder in her hair and shoes on her feet. I'm sad when Mommy leaves without me.
When Mommy leaves I watch her through the front window. I leave marks on the blinds when I do this.
When Mommy comes home, I run out the door to meet her. I jump up and down and sometimes I cry a little because I'm so happy to see her!
