Shane McMahon News for November, 2000
November 26, 2000: The WWF recently held their Wrestlemania press conference. Shane McMahon was in attendance, and 1wrestling.com had this to say about Shane:
"Steph talked about how she has a picture of herself asleep in Andre the Giant's lap during Wrestlemania when she was 8. She and Shane praised Vince. All three of them got a bit emotional...After the conference, all of them took questions from the media. I talked to Vince, Shane, and Chyna. A couple of other guys with me talked to the rest of the group. We had a blast and got to ask some funny questions. We asked Shane what his favorite flower was, and he said roses. Vince said he likes pie...On a little serious note, Shane said they were happy with the move to TNN and are happy about Viacom getting BET, which means more opportunities to get more viewers."
You heard it here, folks, Shane likes roses! =P I like white roses myself. ;)
In other news, Buff Bagwell of WCW apparently has been having some problems down there, and there is a chance he could come to WWF. Wrestlingdotcom.com had this to say:
"Shane McMahon sees talent in Bagwell, and likes Bagwell’s chiselled
physique, but Chairman Vince McMahon and Talents Relations supremo Jim Ross may
have concerns about Bagwell’s attitude and temperament, both of which have
been called into question in recent times."
Purely rumor, of course. Kind of like the time they
said Shane was going to join the WCW! Bwahaha!! That was a good one.

It's been a while since we've seen Shane, but as always, the scheduled return is at or around the next PPV (how long have we been hearing that?). Here is what 3wrestle.com heard on a radio station:
"The Blitz, a radio rock station out of Columbus, OH, has been advertising an upcoming WWF Smackdown event set for January 30th, days after the Royal Rumble. The ad advertises wrestlers such as The Rock, Steve Austin, Triple H, Rikishi, Chris Jericho, Trish Stratus, and even the McMahon’s, Shane and Vince. In a recent talk show on the station, they plugged the event by giving out tickets on “RAW Trivia.” The Blitz stated that the event will be big, and that the word they’ve received is that Vince and Shane McMahon will be in the house. It is not quite known when the two will be back, but reports have indicated sometime after Armageddon on December 10th."
