Shane McMahon news for November and December, 2001

12.27.01 - The following is from rajahwwf.com

Shane McMahon's main contributions to the writing team comes on Mondays and Tuesdays at the arena when he throws in his input. McMahon also participates in post-RAW and post-Smackdown! production meetings where the staff goes over the strengths and weaknesses of each show. On the other days of the week, Shane is occupied with the New Media division of WWFE.

12.12.01 - The following is from a WWF Magazine article called "A Look Through the Crystal Ball - Predictions for the WWF in 2002". Take note of the title: *Predictions* ;)

"After years of working behind the scenes of the sports-entertainment business, Shane O'Mac will be obsessed with competing. He will go on a brief hiatus to learn martial arts and submission wrestling, and then return to the ring full time. After a tremendous run to start
his career, the Boy Wonder will run into trouble when he meets RVD in a battle of the "Van Terminators."

12.5.01 - The following is from wrestlingdotcom.com

Stephanie McMahon and Paul Heyman will be returning to WWF television around the split of the roster on January 7th. Shane McMahon will remain off-camera as he will be devoting his time to the New Media divison of the WWF. Originally, Shane was planned to go through the same humiliation tactic as his sister Stephanie did on the November 19th RAW, but convinced Vince not to take that approach.

12.2.01 - The following is from rajahwwf.com

- Shane McMahon didn't even want to work the TVs following Survivor Series but showed up anyway to accept the fact that he was beaten. Speculation persists that some of the wrestlers backstage were not pleased at the fact that Shane no-sold the effects of taking numerous finishing maneuvers the night before (eg. Undertaker's tombstone) and instead showed up perfectly fine and obviously uninjured.

- The plan is for Shane McMahon to remain off of TV as he heavily concentrates on the office aspects of WWFE, including managing the New Media and publications departments. Conversely, Stephanie McMahon is expected back on TV sooner rather than later, most likely in an angle involving Triple H.

11.24.01 -Rumors have it that Shane is now running the magazine division of the WWF along with being President of New Media. This could contribute to a long absense from TV for Shane-O-Mac. You can read about this here:

11.22.01 - The following is from rajahwwf.com:

Shane McMahon and Stephanie McMahon will likely remain off of TV for the next little while with Steph heading the writing division and Shane taking care of administrative duties such as controlling WWF publications and handling WWF New Media.
