Shane McMahon News for October, 2000

-October 27, 2000:  You can find out a little more about the WWF and the New York Stock exchange by click over to WWF.com's article, "WWF Beings Trading on NYSE".  There is a video there of the superstars at the NYSE, but I can't seem to get it to work!  If anyone out there gets to see it, let me know if they show Shane or not.  Also, this little picture (and I do mean little) came from WWF.com!  Look, I see Shane! =P  Again, Shane, if you are out there, please, please, please, come back to TV soon!! :)  I sure miss that handsome face and debonair smile. ;)

-October 25, 2000:  Thanks to ShaneOMacsGirl4e@aol.com for sending in this review of what exactly Marissa said when she was on Howard Stern, along with Chyna:

I happened to catch The Howard Stern Show last night and Marissa basically talked about how she lived next door to the McMahons growing up. Howard asked her if Shane made her sign a prenuptial agreement. She kept on saying that she discussed this with him (Stern) a previous time but then she answered that he (Shane) did not make her sign one.

Well, you heard it hear first, folks. =P  In other news today, the WWF made a huge splash at the New York Stock Exchange today.  My mom saw Shane and the gang on the news earlier, so I am definitely going to be watching some news tonight!  Check out your local news to see if WWF meets the NYSE makes your news!!  The picture with this post was sent in by McMahonLevyLvr@aol.com and it is from the NYSE website.  You can see our beloved hero over on the right, and who is that standing next to him?  Oh, it's Marissa Mazzola.  What  a coincidence! *wink wink*  Hey, what is Marissa doing back there *anyway*?  I'll leave that up to your imagination! LOL!  You know I'm kidding!  'Rissa is my girl!! ;)  Well, keep on posting in the boardroom guys!  I hope Shane's return to TV is SOON!! :)

-October 24, 2000:  First of all, I'd like send my condolences to the family and friends of the great Yokozuna. I was very surprised and saddened by his untimely death.
There are quite a few bits of news and rumors floating around about Shane-O. If you didn't hear on Raw last night, the WWF will be at the New York Stock exchange tomorrow (Wednesday). All the McMahons, including Shane, are expected to be there! So, if you are in the New York area, be sure to go say hi to Shane and the rest of the WWF superstars attending!
The following post was taken from WrestlingTitan.com
"Shane McMahon, since he is head of WWFE New Media (internet division), would be the main person to decide the fate of the WCW internet staff should the WWFE purchase go through. The WCW website would probably be overhauled and redesigned by the same firm that revamped WWF.com earlier this year, but the WCW.com site might still be operated by a completely separate staff from the WWF.com people."
Well, I still and very much against WWF buying out WCW and I hope we won't have to worry about WCW's website any time soon!! =P
I recently received this email about No Mercy:
"I just wanted to let you know, I am from upstate NY and I work at the Pepsi Arena, site of the No Mercy PPV. Shane was in the house, handling all the day of the show stuff. He looks better than he ever has. He is working very hard behind the scenes."
That is just a little bit of confirmation that Shane-O was at No Mercy! Also, as I mentioned yesterday, Marissa was on the Howard Stern show briefly last night. I, unfortunately, didn't see it (I don't know if I had the wrong channel or what), but from what Jenn told me, she basically just talked about her and Shane's home and how her and Shane met (pretty much the same stuff she said when she was on the last time).
Well, that's it for this news update! Be sure to make a some posts on the newsboard! :)

-October 23, 2000:  Well, No Mercy has come and gone, and we were McMen-less once again!  Highlighting the show was, of course, our Olympics Hero claiming the WWF title!  You go, boy!! =P  Reading the newsboards today, Vince and Shane *were* spotted at No Mercy.  Apparently before the show started Shane and Vinnie Mac, along with 5 or 6 other WWF personnel, went into the bottom parking garage and did not return for thirty minutes.  I am assuming they were working on the big SCSA attempting to run over Rikishi scene.  Security was very heavy around the parking garage and no one was allowed near the bottom parking garage area!  In TV news, tonight on E!  Chyna will be on the Howard Stern show (11pm-12am EST tonight).  Marissa was on this show, and she did discuss Shane, so hopefully that segment will be on the show.  I'll give you the details when I see it. ;)

-October 18, 2000:  Heading the absolutely insane rumors for the day, is the possibility of WWF buying WCW.  For anyone who has been following the WCW, rumors have had it that WCW would be bought out by Mandalay Sports and Eric Bischoff.  It seems now the rumors are becoming stronger that WWF may by WCW, considering that both Turner Sports and Mandalay have released statements (if memory serves me correctly) that Mandalay had no interest in purchasing WCW.  Now, the rumors also say that if WWF *does* by WCW, Shane McMahon will be the head of this branch.  To read more about this check out "More on WWF's Purchase of WCW" or your newsboard of choice!

-October 10, 2000:  There has been very little news and/or rumors involving Shane as of late. Websites have been reporting that many people are confused with Shane's current role in the WWF. Some say it seems Shane doesn't really have a current role at the time, and he seems to stray from wrestler to wrestler.
According to WWF.com, there will be a press conference held Wednesday and the McMahon's will be there. The topic of discussion will be Wrestlemania 2001. Maybe Shane will make an appearance!
