in Orowaitai Cemetary. Plot number F132 + 133. He was also known as Geordie.
He was married to Janet Johnston (daughter of John Johnston
and Agnes Thomson) on 31 Dec 1884 in Scoonie, Fife Scotland.
Janet Johnston was born on 2 Mar 1866 in (Halbeath) Dunfermline,
Fife, Scotland. She died on 18 May 1942 in Nelson Quay, Cobden.
(1) Cause of death congestive heart failure - 2 years. Certified by
Dr JFC Moore, and last seen by him on the 18th May 1942. She was buried on 21
May 1942 in Orowaitai Cemetary, Westport, New Zealand. George McKinlay and Janet
