STELA B.

Location: Stela B was discovered by Stirling during the 1938-1939 field season "lying about 25 yards southeast of the base of" Structure 25, Group 3. As of November 1988 it lies at the side of the road where it enters the southern plaza of Mound Group 3.

Associations: None recorded.

Condition: Complete.

Material: This monument was not tested by Williams. However, Stirling suggests that its material is identical to that of Stela C.

Dimensions: Height 150 cm, Width 90 cm, Depth 25 cm.

Description: Stela B is an uncarved natural slab with numerous large chips and flakes removed from its irregular mass.
