I Can't Count on Tomorrow

When is love to find me
Day after day I pray
I should wait until tomorrow
But I can't count on tomorrow today

I find love in those who don't love
Poor in character I do choose
When distortion appears to be reality
It gets me so confused

Little thought in what I'm doing
That later tears me apart
Decisions made with mind and body
But not of soul and heart

Remedy seems unlikely
Adding to my sorrow
For what I needed yesterday
I can't count on tomorrow
