MAIN CAST
Teppei KATAGIRI (Takuya KIMURA)
Teppei Katagiri is 24 years old. Having got
his business degree from the University of Japan, Teppei had worked as a advertisment
designer(not too business-related is it?) in a big Japanese advertising company until
he was transferred to the company's sales department. Teppei is a pretty self-centered
person who likes to do things in his own ways and he seldom listens to other people's opinions.
That has casued him some problems after his move to the sales department.
Teppei still loves his ex-girlfriend Sanae Mizuhara despite they broke up some years
ago, and it really breaks his heart when he knows Sanae is with his
borther Soichiro. Teppei isn't able to forget Sanae until he
finds out that he is actually in love with Riko.
Riko UESUGI (Takako MATSU)
Riko Uesugi is 22 years old. She was born and raised
in Nagano(approximately 200 km from Tokyo) where her family owns a small motel in the uptown area,
she has two elder sisters and one younger sister in her family.
Riko moved to Tokyo 2 years ago. She is now working as an
OL(Office Lady) in an advertising company.
When the story started off, Riko was on the verge of breaking up with her boyfriend.
She is an out-going and very talkative girl but sometimes she just
seems to talk too much. Teppei for the one didn't like her personality at the beginning.
Soichiro KATAGIRI (Masaaki UCHINO)
Soichiro is Teppie's elder brother. He is 28 years old(4 years older than Teppei).
Soichiro is a young police officer who just happens to be a lot
more successful than his younger brother.
He graduated from University
of Tokyko's law school and joined the police department afterwards.
Soichiro met Teppei's ex-girlfriend Sanae at work and eventually
engaged with her.
Sanae MIZUHARA (Risa JUNNA)
Sanae Mizuhara was Teppei's ex-girlfriend. They went to the same
high school and were in love until Sanae heard some rumours about
Teppei dating another girl and decided to break up with him. She works
as a Mandarin translator and was transferred to the Tokyo office one year
ago. Sanae met Soichiro(Teppei's brother) in a legal case that needs a
Mandarin translator. At the end of the day, Sanae finds out she still loves
Teppei despite she is engaged with Soichiro.
Erika TAKAGI (Norika FUJIWARA)
Erika Takagi is Riko's best friend in Tokyo, she is a 25-year-old
flight attendant who just feels the need to get married. Teppei happened
to be her target, but as soon as she knows Riko is with Teppei,
she's been very supportive to Riko.
OTHERS...
Takeshi KUROSAKI
Kurosaki is Teppei's supervisor, he's also the head of the sales department. Kurosaki often gets mad at Teppei when Teppei is
transferred to his department. However, Kurosaki has been
doing his best to help Teppei settling in the new environment.
Yoshimoto-san
Yoshimoto was Teppei's high school classmate and he is still one of Teppei's best
friends in Tokyo. He wanted to go after Riko but soon realized that Riko is actually
in love with Teppei.
