Our Pain
Today we gather as one
Joining hands, We aren't alone
The Unity we sought is finally ours
It came to be in a few short hour's

Our pain

We feel it deep
Death toll rises in the street
An evil man had a plan
Sent in followers at his command

Our pain

They tore into our souls
Killed several we held so close
Hate runs deep because of him
We have to fight it, he just can't win

Our pain

Lets pride ourselves with love
After all, Gods watching from above
In all we fight for and believe
Lets make sure we remain free

Our pain

If into battle we must go
Keep the pride, let it grow
Hold fast to all who is dear
Let us not go forward filled with fear

Our pain

Remember all whose lives was taken
A giant, oh yes he did awaken
Lets bow heads in prayer for each of us
No more ashes to ashes or dust to dust

Our pain

Remember we no longer stand alone
Speak to your neighbors with a friendly tone
No wrong deed goes undone
This fight we fight will be won

Our pain

Tears have fallen all around
Proof lays on our wonderful ground
Lets raise our heads and go on
Pull together and be strong

Our pain

In our history this will be written
Lets not forget he seeks attention
But this man will have no honorable mention
So lets honor all who has joined in with good intention

I decided that these words should be left just where they are below.
This is one of my favorite Graphic Artists and this is her work above.
Im proud to be able to use such a beautiful set as this,
Even more proud to leave her heartfelt words of this tragedy for all to see.



 

Today as my heart, like all of yours, is found breaking from sorrow at the events of today I found that I could not think straight, could not focus, could not get my mind and heart around the tragedy of the day and all of it's ramifications for the rest of our earthly days. My heart is breaking for those whose lives are directly impacted by the tragedies and for the world and what it means to us ALL. I did not know what to do so turned to the only place I knew to express my feelings...here. If anyone would like to use this page please do. I have not made buttons, etc......it MUST be a simple set.  It MUST be a set of dignity, it MUST reflect that the heart is broken.  SO, I recommend that one uses the rainbow code I have inserted into the HTML for hyperlinked words.  There is no logo but please do place our MOON AND BACK on it and link back so others may find the set if they wish to use it to express their own emotions.  THANK you.
