It has been three long years since you said good-bye
Giving your heart to someone else and breaking mine
There has not been a day go by, my heart don't yearn for you
There has not been a night go by, that my heart does not dream of you

I close my eyes, I feel your fingers on my forehead
The hearts you traced there so many times
I open my eyes, I smell you, taste you
Your still there

I promised you forever, and my love just wont die
I wish to let go, move on, I try and try
But my love goes on, growing stronger everyday
The pain grows too, for I know your love for me is through

the tender kisses you placed there
I open my eyes, I feel your body pressed against mine

Just to feel that magical love again
A love I waited a life time to feel
So afraid to trust my heart to another
If it is broken again, that will be the kill

The words of undying love you spoke
