The
Dream
It was a
hot night, with only a soft breeze to cool me.
A mist
of rain was starting to fall, I listened at it hit the roof,
Letting
myself drift off, thinking of you, hypnotized by the
sound.
Drifting
farther and farther...

In the
distance I could hear the thunder.
All of
a sudden I was standing in the garden,
My long
white gown sticking to me from the soft falling rain.
The sweet
smell of flowers filling my head...

My heart
races as I look out over the grounds.
I see you
sitting at the end of the garden on the stone bench,
I don't
move, I just want to look at you, sitting there, wet from the
rain.
My body
trembles as you stretch, and lean back...

Slowly
I move closer, not wanting to disturb your thoughts,
The look
on your handsome face is breathtaking, so soft.
I wonder
who and what you are thinking of,
I move
closer and closer, my heart pounding...

A bolt
of lightening zigzags across the sky,
Oh what
a sight, sitting there on the bench.
Im so close
to you, I can almost reach out and touch you.
I almost
fear you will hear the beating of my heart...

I pick
one of the flowers, bringing it to my nose to smell,
My eyes
don't leave the beautiful scene before me.
Without
thinking I reach out with the flower,
I trace
it over your shoulder and down your back...

You don't
turn, but reach and take my hand,
Pulling
me around in front of you, as if you were waiting for me.
Looking
deep in my eyes, you pull me to you,
The kiss
is the sweetest ever, so deep and so much feeling..

The thunder
rings out and with a start I sit up,
My gown
soaked through and though.
I still
feel your mouth on mine and your wet skin against me.
Oh what
a delightful dream...
