When There Are No More Tears

The thunder... roars in my head
Broken promises... bruise my shattered heart
Wondering when the memories will fade
And the pain will go away

When there are no more tears...
Will laughter come again?
Will the sun shine on this spirit?
Will I feel the song deep in my soul?
When there are no more tears...

I want to smile again, and feel it deep within
I want to embrace each day with hunger
Accepting the fact, you love me no longer
Maybe then, I can be "only" your friend

When there are no more tears...
Will the lump in my throat go away?
Will my heart beat correct itself?
Will there be a star in my eyes again?
When there are no more tears...

Maybe someday I can put it all behind me
The thoughts of you and me
All the promises made with undying love
Just need to release it

When there are no more tears...
