Cinderella Had Her Day
A poor child was Cinderella
Her life was tough, her days were long
In her lonely hours she day dreamed of a better life
One without greed, hunger and strife
I too was a poor child
And in my loneliest of times I day dreamed as well
Only I knew that there would always be greed, hunger and strife
I dreamed of Love
The kind of love that you read about in a fairy tale
Love that... no matter what happens... stays strong and true
Love that when your down and blue, picks you right up
Love that when your arms ache to hold,
Or your body aches to be held
It is there all around you
Love that when your worried about paying a bill
Lets you know your not alone
And that even if that bill don't get paid
That love is there where it will always remain
A Love that looks deep inside and sees the true beauty
A Love that never judges or controls
A Love that warms you head to toe
A Love that is understanding, compassionate, honest
Well I have my Prince
And I Have that Love
Cinderella's Prince received a glass slipper
You received my Heart
Dreams do come true
I realized that the first day I met you
You are everything and so much more than I ever hoped for
I Have gotten my day too
Im so in love with YOU
