The following are the questions that I am asked most about SMRPG. If you have a question, or correction for this FAQ, send it to me here. Also note that there MAY BE some similiarites between this and OTHER SMRPG FAQ's, but I personally compiled this list. These questions are in the order of when they were asked...I made the first few myself, though.

1. Q. Help!! I'm stuck, and can't go forward!! What do I do?
A. Not an easy question to answer. There's something you haven't done, or someone you haven't talked to. I suggest talking to IMPORTANT people in a town (such as the Chancellor or a villiage elder), going into certain buildings or caves (such as an inn, or the Coal Mines), or talking to Frogfucius. Oh yes, another common problem is getting Frogfucius to talk. For that, you'll need to go to the Mushroom Kingdom shop and give the owner the rare frog coin. He will, in exchange, give you the cricket pie. Give this to Frogfucius, and he'll be all cheered up.
2. Q. Where is the Casino?
A. It is in the last pipe to the left in the series of six in Bean Valley. That's the one with the golden chain chomp in one corner. BUT TO GET IN, you MUST have a Bright Card. Once you do, just jump in the corner where the golden chomp is three times. You'll hear a "1-up" sound every time if you jump right, and on the third time, a passage will be revealed.
3. Q. Alright, then. Where's the Bright Card I
need to GET INTO the Casino?
A. The Bright Card is in Booster Tower. After you've beaten Knife Guy and Grate Guy, go to the room BEFORE the first save point. Talk to the guy in the corner (Knife Guy) and play his game. If you win 12 times, or 8 times in a row. HOWEVER, if you lose once, that loss will be subtracted from your total wins. For example, if you had won 7 times, but lost once, then your total wins would be down to 6. I've heard that if you win the game 100 times, you get a Red Essance from him.
4. Q. What's the password on the Sunken Ship?
A. "Pearls".
5. Q. How do I get the key off the top of the
ledge in Monstro Town?
A. To get the key, talk to the thwomp inside the house below it 7 times. When you go out of the house, the key will be on the ground. This is the key you give to Belome and will let you get into his treasure room.
6. Q. Where is the "fertilizer"?
A. The Fertilizer can be found AFTER you beat Valentina. Go to the far right of the world, and keep pushing out towards the void. You will find a secret passage from there to where the Shy Away is, and he'll give you the fertilizer and leave.
7. Q. Who do I give the Fertilizer and Seed to?
A. There's a guy in Rose Town, and you can get to him by talking to a rat in Monstro Town. Go to the very back of the town, and you'll find a passageway. From there, just go into the house and give them to him.
8. Q. Where is the Lazy Shell?
A. The Lazy shell can be gotten after you give the Seed and Fertilizer to the gardener in Rose Town. Just climb the vine that the two create, and grab the weapon and armor out of the treasure boxes at the top of the vine.
9. Q. Where do I get the Frying Pan?
A. To get the Frying Pan, go to the Moleville "Miner's Store" after you beat the Axem Rangers. He'll sell you a "Metal Plate" for 300 coins. It's actually the Frying Pan, the Princess' most powerful weapon. Don't forget to equip it! It'll automatically appear under the "equip" menu.
10. Q. How do I get the Lamb's Lure?
A. This is one strange item, and getting it is pretty strange, too. To get the Lamb's Lure, have the Princess equip the B'tub Ring and use the Mystery Egg, which is bought from the Miner's Store in Moleville for 200 coins, 10 times in battle.
11. Q. How do I get the Sheep Attack?
A. To get the Sheep Attack, just use the Lamb's Lure 47 times in battle. Anyone can use it.
12. Q. Is there a way to make Yoshi join your
team?
A. No. And to clear things up RIGHT now, there are only 5 characters in the game. THERE ARE NO HIDDEN CHARACTERS.
13. Q. Can I get a Game Genie to work with Super
Mario RPG?
A. Absolutely not. Whoever told you this is full of it, but I HAVE SEEN this rumor quite a bit.
14. Q. How can I get those items on the clouds in Bean Valley.
A. You must go to the far left vine on the second screen with vines in it. It has a frog coin beside it and a treasure box beneath it. Climb up it, and keep going up the other sets of vines until you see a path going right. Go through it.
15. Q. Was there ever a Super Mario RPG soundtrack?
A. Yes, there was...but only in Japan. The Japanese seem to have an obsession with video game music, as a lot of that type of music is more popular over there than any other type of MUSIC!!
16. Q. Where and how do I get the star egg?
A. The star egg is in Grate Guy's Casino. To get it, you must win his "look the other way" game a staggering 100 times!! To play this game, keep on talking to Grate Guy (the one in the center on the ball).
17. Q. What is the star egg and what does it do?
A. The Star Egg is a re-usable type of bomb which attacks all enemies. It causes 100 damage to all the enemies; it causes 150 dmg. if you've used a Power Boost, Energizer, Geno Boost, or the Quartz Charm.
18. Q. Can I get the Bright Card back AFTER I sell it?
A. Nope...my advice is...DON'T SELL IT!
19. Q. How do I fight the Shy Ranger?
A. Equip Geno with the feather and the work pants or the super suit.
20. Q. How do I get the Attack Scarf and Super Suit?
A. Do 30 jumps, get the attack scarf; do 100 jumps, get the Super Suit.
21. Q. Where and how do I find Samus Aran?
A. Go to The Mushroom Kingdom Guest Room (inside the castle) after you've beaten star hill OR after you've beaten the Axem Rangers.
22. Q. Can you tell which way Grate Guy will point in his "look the other way" game?
A. Yes and No. For
example, if you've missed it like 5 or 6 times (could be more),
and you keep switching the hands you choose, then choose the same
one twice. (Ex: If you chose left, right, left, right, left and
they were all wrong, try choosing left again on your sixth try).
Also, if you keep picking the SAME hand and keep loosing, try to
switch hands.
Finally, when you're on a winning streak, keep using the same
formula (i.e. criss cross hands every time, or choose the same
hand) until you lose. Then it's up to you where you go from
there.
23. Q. How do you make the baby Yoshi come out of the nest?
A. Feed him about 12-20 cookies (you can get 3 each time by talking to Red Yoshi), and then exit the stage. When you re-enter, he'll be out of the nest.
24. Q. Where do you find the safety ring?
A. Go left to get behind a stack of barrels underwater is the sunken ship...there is a bloober (squid) with babies nearby to help you locate it. Go all the way right, and go through the door. In the next room it's in the treasure box.
25. Q. Who is the Shy Ranger?
A. He's an enemy. He's the brownish-looking shy guy you meet in the Pipe Vault.
26. Q. Where are the 3 Ghost Flags found?
A. Big Boo Flag: Between the "O" and "A" in "GOAL" on Yo'ster Isle.
Greaper Flag: Behind the wooden flower at the entrance to Rose Town.
Dry Bones' Flag: Under Mario's bed in Mario's Pad
